Welcome to my seemingly endless journey.
A trip that will take you to places I might have visited many moons ago.
It´s a tale that came back to me when I meditated on one of my past lives. A life I told you about in my unbelievable true story.
As promised in that story I will now share this story with you.

Chapter 88

After having a bit to eat Numico and I were now playing a game of Kash and discussing all kinds tactics to get into the city. I hated this waiting game even though I enjoyed spending time here. The first few days I had been looking for something that had been written. A relic that made me certain that this was my ancestral homeland. But there turned out to be nothing.
Dadrie taught us new techniques with the sword just in case. Cabilah, who had never fought or held a sword, turned out to be gifted. In a few days, she mastered the sword as if she had had to fight since childhood. It may have been unnecessary, but little did we know what situations we would find ourselves in when we left this place.
I frequently spent the afternoons alone, deep in the woods, meditating on what lay ahead. The images were unclear, they were blurry and distorted, indicating that nothing was fixed. But I continued to see one thing clearly.
Time and time again I got the face of Numico and the face, which based on Numico's description, had to be of the Sikh. They stand opposite each other, just their heads, with their eyes focused on one another. Then they move towards each other and slowly flow together until both their faces form one new face.
The meaning is not clear to me, although the answer seems simple to me, the men will come together, but in what way?
Will they both die or just have the same thoughts?
I knew that Numico had to meet this man, that this meeting was the main purpose of this trip.
The day before departure I decided to ask the dragon for advice. As Oniko said, she would know what is best. I sat down and crossed my legs, closed my eyes, and placed my hands on my knees.
I noticed that nowadays it took me much less effort to conjure her up, to visualize her. Although it was more difficult to meditate for a long time without thè, my meditations seemed more focused and more profound.
Numico had already explained to me at the beginning of our trip that the thè was blocking something in us. And that this was only a problem for seers and sages. For those who only did light meditations and had barely developed their third eye, it was a gift, so to speak.
In the middle of the forest stood the enormous red 'monster', it seemed to have grown.
It stood up straight and stretched out its back. Previously I used to see her coming up from out of the water and part of her body remained invisible beneath the surface. But even taking that into account, I felt like she had grown.
I didn't have to hesitate for long.
"If you grow, I will grow with you," said the dragon.
"I must tell you that I am very satisfied with my new appearance, it is a lot more complete." The voice was clear, loud but clear.
"Thank you for accepting my invitation" I respond.
“I am connected to you, my life is connected to yours. I am always at your disposal because in your life I am a part of you. That is the role you gave me before you returned to earth, that is the role I had to die for. Dying before you reached the age when my guidance would become necessary. Everything is predestined, you know that. It depends on your choices on which side the fate coin falls."
"Your choices determine the outcome of the sum. A sum that you drew up for yourself before you were born. Don't be afraid of a wrong answer, that possibility does not exist. Even all the wrong choices can lead to a good outcome. However, the chance of making a wrong choice does become smaller."
"Trust that you knew yourself before you were born and could use that knowledge to determine the most obvious choices. But unforeseen situations, which trigger choices from others or yourself, can influence every next step. Nothing is fixed and everything is predestined."
"It seems like a contradiction, but play with it in your mind and you will see its logic. You have come far, you have overcome many fears. The coming period will be a continuation of this week. Learn to be patient, because the journey is still long. Even though the distance is becoming manageable."
"I know you lack patience but good plans take time and preparation, so don't do anything hasty. Trust your friends, but for now, show them the right way. Because they too want to complete their quest, whatever it costs them. But haste will not bring prosperity in this matter. Dadrie needs to heal first. Cabilah will learn to love, and only then will the time come.“
For a moment I looked into the dragon's deep black eyes with pupils as red as the scales on her flanks. Now that I knew her answers, they just raised more questions.
'Never ask an entity or an oracle anything, their answers only raise questions.' These were wise words that Oniko often spoke with a slightly cynical tone. They contained a hard truth. Because even if we get answers to our questions, they do not have to answer our questions. They will express what you want to know but do not have the context in which they should be seen.
Yet this time it was clear and everything indicated that it was not yet time to visit the city, despite my curiosity, this reassured me. It meant that we would still have time to find safe passage into the city.
The thought about how to enter the city kept resurfacing since Dadrie had explained that those who wanted to enter the city must be able to prove their wealth. Or they must be able to provide a letter stating that they are employed by someone whose prosperity has been demonstrated.
The higher your prosperity, the more people you can employ. Those are the rules. In this way, the city prevents it from overflowing with fortune seekers and beggars. Its walls protect the rich and their goods against all those who belong only to the dust of the earth and possess nothing more than simple household goods or less.
According to Dadrie, the system works excellently. Few unpleasant things happened within the walls of the city. For this reason, its residents are happy to pay the high taxes that are asked of them. It just makes it difficult to enter the city if, like us, you own nothing at all.
