Beyond The Looking Glass is the second book in the Unseen series, a story that came to me from the other side. A story where I thought I was just the narrator until I heard the Words of the Unseen.
This second story goes beyond time and place and mixes the long ago with the here and now. Because history keeps repeating, until we learn and do something about it.

Beyond The Looking Glass - Words of the Unseen - Chapter 29

This world full of discontent needs change, because demagogues are only too happy to add fuel to this fire for their own ultimate benefit.
The dark shadows have managed to gain so much power over this mass because they have simply lost faith. The insight that man is only a temporary form that we must repeat until we can cross the thresholds.
All the information that ever existed has been shattered by disinformation and no one is able to listen anymore, everyone is focused on distinguishing the truth from the lies for themselves, but they lack the enlightenment.
For generations it has become darker in all those minds, increasingly deviated and distracted. The shadows cannot manipulate nature, because nature does not have the ability to think and decide. Man does, and that possibility has made it impossible for many to walk the path that leads to insight.
The world around us cannot grow, man was given that opportunity in the beginning. However, every advantage has its disadvantage, and so choice stress is the downfall of many.
It is not made easy for them either, all those ignorant souls so influenceable by the forces that they do not see, and therefore do not exist for them.
Unaware of the danger of free will, this mass thunders through life like a herd of elephants.
There are so many, and yet I still can't see them. But I feel them and know that this is just a reflection of something much bigger.
This mass has been torn from its bond, lost for generations, often only able to experience love if it brings them vomiting pleasure and material gain.
So many searching empty shells fueled by anger and envy with a constant urge for more is great prey.
I hear the latter in my head, probably my awareness confirming it because it wasn't Sei. Still, it sounds shocking enough to snap me out of the trance.
It takes a long time before I can and want to get rid of this strange experience. Who and where is this crowd, I have never met people like this on my long journey, and certainly not in these numbers.
They don't feel like they're from here, this is a realm far away, much further than I've ever been. An empire that even the Imperial City has no knowledge of.
As we walk back hand in hand, fragments keep haunting my mind.
"What do you have now?" Out of nowhere, Sei stops and looks deep into my eyes.
"What did you just do or see?"
You can't keep anything to yourself with this woman, I hate talking about things I don't understand yet. But she doesn't leave me much choice.
"I don't know, it was very surreal. The strange thing is I couldn't see anything, it was a big blur but I could hear and feel everything."
Her big eyes become even bigger than normal and I now know what that means, something resonates that she normally doesn't talk about.
"Describe that blur better?"
"How, what should I describe? It was as if I couldn't open my eyes. As if my eyelids were stuck shut, but it wasn't dark. It was light and I could see contours here and there but nothing more than that."
I think for a moment before I continue; "But even though I saw nothing, I felt like I was experiencing everything. Like I was registering all their thoughts and feelings, but I have no idea where I was. Blind as a newly born puppy, that's how I felt and overwhelmed by disgusting impressions."
Her big eyes narrow into listening slits, and I can see that this is not news to her. She listens attentively and I see recognition and then doubt.
"This is so strange. You shouldn't be able to see this, you haven't been trained to do so yet. Such images find their way to those who can generate the right frequency. You have just learned how to close a door in your brain chambers do it, if you don't forget."
"But this was sent," then her eyes turn 180 degrees. While searching, I see the twinkle return and then that beautiful smile: "Oh, what a stupid Yak I am!"
