I know the rumor has it already for a few days, unofficially I heard the message traveling around Hive, several communities and even Discord - so now we gonna announce it 100% official!

We have a new member in our Team and her name is @ninaeatshere

As you know, a big part of our team attended Hivefest last week and of course, we were collecting some ideas for the future of the project to develop it further and make the community grow.

One of the ideas is to take the project to the next level in terms of language and include more of the Spanish community, because until now we only curate English content highlighting it daily in our Traveldigest posts. We were having long talks with some of the Hivefest attendees about that topic.

We still don´t know how to solve this topic technically with our curation tool. However after a discussion with our team, we decided to start going in this direction already.

As Nina was one of the first to bring this topic to us and she is a great role model on this chain, we proposed to her to lead this initiative aaaand - SHE SAID YES! 🎉🎉🎉

What will she do?

Nina will join our curation team with also includes @lizanomadsoul, @ybanezkim26, @glecerioberto, and @lauramica.

Her tasks are the following:

• Manual curating Spanish travel content for worldmappin
• Getting a feeling on how much Spanish content we have
• Host the Spanish community on discord and make it grow, so sooner or later we can build an individual curation trail
• Being a scout looking at other communities and hashtags to find other travelers that are not in our community yet and guide them to the map

But who is @ninaeatshere? What brings her to Hive and why does she want to be on this project?

This is what she answered to those questions:

I'm Nina Eats Here, but to me here means any place where I can enjoy the adventure of discovering different cultures through their gastronomy, and that, my dear friends, can only be accomplished by traveling. In Hive I've found a room to express my experiences freely and, in this community, a place to share them with travelers from all over the world. I would love to make this project the biggest and most honest Web3 travel guide ever!

¡Sabemos que el rumor ya tiene unos días, extraoficialmente hemos escuchado el mensaje viajando a través de Hive, varias comunidades e incluso Discord - así que ahora vamos a anunciarlo 100% oficial!

Tenemos una nueva integrante en nuestro Equipo y su nombre es @ninaeatshere

Como saben, gran parte de nuestro equipo asistió al Hivefest la semana pasada y, por supuesto, estuvimos recopilando algunas ideas para el futuro del proyecto con el fin de desarrollarlo aún más y hacer crecer la comunidad.

Una de las ideas es llevar el proyecto al siguiente nivel en cuanto al idioma e incluir más a la comunidad hispana, porque hasta ahora, sólo nos dedicamos a curar contenidos en inglés, destacándolos a diario en nuestros Traveldigest posts. Estuvimos conversando largo y tendido con algunos de los asistentes al Hivefest.

Todavía no sabemos cómo podemos resolver técnicamente este tema con nuestra herramienta de curación. Pero después de una discusión en nuestro equipo, decidimos empezar a avanzar en esta dirección.

Como Nina fue una de las primeras en plantearnos este tema y es un gran modelo a seguir en esta plataforma, le propusimos encabezar esta iniciativa y... ¡DIJO QUE SÍ! 🎉🎉🎉

¿Qué es lo que va a hacer?

Nina formará parte de nuestro equipo de curación junto a @lizanomadsoul, @ybanezkim26, @glecerioberto y @lauramica.

Sus tareas son las siguientes:

• Curación manual del contenido de viajes en español para worldmappin.
• Obtener una idea de la cantidad de contenido en español que tenemos.
• Moderar la comunidad hispana en Discord y hacerla crecer, para que tarde o temprano podamos construir un trail de curación individual
• Ser una exploradora, buscando en otras comunidades y etiquetas, para encontrar a viajeros que aún no están en nuestra comunidad y guiarlos hacia el mapa.

Pero, ¿quién es @ninaeatshere? ¿Qué la trae a Hive y por qué quiere estar en este proyecto?

Esto es lo que respondió a esas preguntas:

Soy Nina Come Aquí, pero aquí para mí, significa todo aquel lugar en el que pueda disfrutar la aventura de conocer diferentes culturas, a través de su gastronomía. Y eso, amigos míos, solo se puede hacer viajando. En Hive he conseguido un espacio para expresar mis vivencias libremente y, en esta comunidad, un lugar en donde compartirlas con exploradores del mundo entero. ¡Me encantaría hacer de este proyecto la guía viajera Web3 más grande y honesta que exista!

Estamos muy contentos de dar la bienvenida a Nina a nuestro equipo y esperamos que esta colaboración nos permita seguir desarrollando aún más el proyecto
