Qurator's Photo Quest | ICM Photography - The Red Beast


Probably one of the most common technique of ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) is panning. The idea is while using a bit slower shutter speed to move the camera tracing the fast moving object trying to keep it still in focus, while foreground and background getting blurred

And very good chance to train such a technique is to shoot some sport events, like those car drifting competitions I had a chance to participate few years ago making some decent shots just from inside and very very close to moving cars

It is still a matter of some trials to get the right shutter speed at various angles of moving car, since it's speed also changing all the time.

So here we go with quite a nice final result.. Wrummm, wrummm!
