Two weeks ago, I decided to wipe the dust off my Twitter account and get active with it. It's two weeks later and I'm still taking a deep dive while on the adventure.
In case you don't know, this has been one heck of an adventure. Every day has presented a new win to celebrate and I'm here to give you a snippet of my journey so far.
I've had my Twitter (X) account since 2018, but I never had it in mind to do some serious stuff with the account. That was the era of social media just being "social media" and I wasn't particularly interested in building there or getting into the toxicity that was buzzing on Twitter. I also wasn't the biggest fan of growing any presence on social media.
When I created my Twitter account, all I ever used it to do was to keep a tab on my football Club and also to keep a tab on the Twitter account of all footballers in Liverpool. That was enough to make me happy.
A few years later, I got into Hive Blockchain and started my #Web3 journey. It was during this period that I got to learn so much about brand building, Content creation, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and whatnot. After building on #Web3 for 3 years, I decided to jump back into Web2 to also build a decent profile.
As you can see, I chose X as the platform to explore.

Trust me, my friends in #Web3 had all these questions to ask and I'm glad they did because each of those questions helped me to prepare my mind for what's on the way. I knew I would need to make a lot of effort and I'm all about that life. Making an effort isn't a big deal.
I played my part, made an effort, got into spaces, interacted with folks, listened, read wrote, and spoke, and I'm gradually building my profile on X.
At the moment, I can say my account has been experiencing significant growth. Most of my engagement on X would be on Web3, Crypto, and Football. I also got a Premium package for my account and I've already used it for a week.
My account's analytics is looking decent although more work has to be done.

I've noticed that Twitter offers a lot of audience that can be drawn into Web3 and subsequently get us closer to the goal of massive adoption. I want to be a player in that and I hope to learn so much about that as I explore both Web3 and Web3.
So far, being in the Zealy Campaign that's run by INLEO has been very effective and helpful in pointing me to the right spaces where I've been able to learn, teach and grow. Kudos to the organizers 👍.
