Arcade Colony: Moon Karts Presale is Live! Cost per Pack Calculations + 50 CENTAURI Packs Purchased! (ENG/ITA)

Today, March 12, 2024 a few hours behind the scheduled time the Presale of the Alpha Centauri packs began.
The Alpha Centauri are the packs containing 5 NFTs of the game Moon Karts which is a Super Mario Kart style racing game in development.

It is possible to participate in the presale from the MONKARTS SHOP section of the Arcade Colony site.

The Centauri packs available for purchase during the Presale were initially 50000 (50K), so far 15587 packs have been sold and 34413 packs are still available for purchase.

Each pack can be purchased by choosing from two purchase methods and has a cost of:

5000 CREDITS
or 5 SCRIPTs

The CREDITS are an in-game currency and 5000 CREDITS = $5
SCRIPT tokens are second-level tokens of the Hive blockchain and are also the stable currency of Arcade Colony

Today March 12, 2024 1 SCRIP token is worth:

Highest Bid: 1.23000035 SWAP.HIVE
Lowest Ask: 1.49900000 SWAP.HIVE

Based on the current values of the HIVE token and the SCRIPT token, it is possible to easily calculate the dollar cost of 1 Centauri packs by purchase method.

It is much cheaper to purchase 1 Centauri packs using SCRIPT tokens as the purchase method because in this purchase case the cost per pack drops from $5 to $3.41.

There are also three options to purchase multiple packs in a single transaction that allow you to receive bonus packs.

In this case, a small amount of COLONY tokens must also be spent.
The COLONY tokens are the gorvernance tokens of Arcade Colony (equivalent to SPS tokens on Splinterlands and GLX tokens on Genesis League Sports)

Those who read my Hive blog know well my passion for Hive and Hive games, so I participated in the presale of Moon Karts.

Today I spent 250 SCRIPT to purchase 50 CENTAURI packs.

To purchase 50 CENTAURI packs I used the 107 SCRIPT I received from the fork of Arcade Colony on February 26, 2024 to which I added 143 SCRIPT I obtained today by converting 119 SWAP.HIVE into 123.07 SCRIPT and converting 13.06 GLUSD into 21 SCRIPT using the SWAP feature of https://beeswap.dcity.io/swap.

When you have to buy second-level tokens of Hive I always suggest you compare the cost between the Trade feature of Hive Engine and the SWAP feature on BeeSwap or TribalDex because you can often find different costs.
For example, today I chose to use the SWAP functionality of the SWAP.HIVE:SRIPT pool because I got more SCRIPT than buying on Hive Engine (123 SCRIPT vs 119 SCRIPT) as you can see from the next two screenshots.

I purchased 50 CENTAURI packs also because I will receive 1 airdrop card guaranteed.

Soon the daily airdrop of COLONY tokens will begin, which will last 5 years and distribute COLONY tokens to SPS stakeholders and GLX stakeholders.

If you have at least 10K GLX staked or 10K GLX in a liquidity pool and/or if you have at least 5K SPS staked you will be able to participate in the COLONY token airdrop.

I am an active player on Splinterlands and on Genesis League Goals and I have 32K GLX staked and 90K SPS staked and I am very interested in this airdrop and when it starts I will try to publish a post where I will share my evaluations and strategy.

Today began for me a new adventure of investing in another Hive game under development.
By now, I have lost count of the number of game projects in development that I have invested in but I am very happy that the gaming area of Hive is continuously expanding and I hope that Arcade Colony and Moon Karts can bring especially fun to Hive gamers like me!

Oggi 12 marzo 2024 con qualche ora di ritardo rispetto all'orario pianificato è iniziata la Presale degli Alpha Centauri packs che sono i pacchi contenenti 5 NFT del gioco Moon Karts che è un gioco di corse stile Super Mario Kart in fase di sviluppo.

E' possibile partecipare alla presale dalla sezione MONKARTS SHOP del sito Arcade Colony.

I Centauri packs acquistabili durante la Presale erano inizialmente 50000 (50K), fino ad ora sono stati venduti 15587 packs e sono ancora disponibili all'acquisto 34413 packs.

Ogni pacco può essere acquistato scegliendo tra due metodi di acquisto ed ha un costo di:

5000 CREDITS

Oggi ho speso 250 SCRIPT per acquistare 50 CENTAURI packs.

Quando devi acquistare dei token di secondo livello di Hive ti consiglio sempre di confrontare il costo tra la funzionalità Trade di Hive Engine e la funzionalità SWAP su BeeSwap o TribalDex perchè spesso puoi trovare costi diversi.
