Growing my X account wasn't part of my plan this year, but then the Zealy Campaign helped me build a great X account. Prior to joining INLEO and the Zealy campaign, I felt there was no need to grow my X account since I don't usually make use of it, and secondly, I thought before now that the majority of people that are active on X are political fans, and because I have just a little interest in politics, I never took an interest in growing my X account. However, I have had a great shift in mindset in the past few months since I joined INLEO, attending different spaces on X and consuming quality knowledge.
Coming to the blockchain, I knew nothing about Web 3. In fact, I didn't even know that hive blockchain is regarded as Web 3, but all of this knowledge is clear now, and it's amazing how I have come to know more about crypto as well. Looking back to see how far I have grown is quite applauding. From zero followers to 599 followers, thousands of engagements, and many quality posts to read and get value from Taking part in several activities on the chain has increased my engagement and growth, and that's how much I have grown so far.
Marketing hive has been possible and easier through the Zealy campaign, as we are being exposed to a wider knowledge of the crypto world. This knowledge has assisted in reaching out to Web 2 users and bringing them to the hive. Currently, I have an onboarder whom I met on Web 2, and I am already coaching him on what hive is all about. He is a guy for whom I have seen his potential, and there is no doubt that he will bring value to the growth of the blockchain. This was possible for us to participate in marketing our own because the more great users we have in the chain, the more we win.
The use of the Inleo front end has become better and easier. I now buzz around the space, threading and engaging with other users. This has drastically increased my engagement and even creativity. I now earn votes through threads, earn more Leo tokens, and power up for more staking rewards. Trust me, I never showed interest in all of these activities until I joined Zealy through the INLEO community. Through the knowledge I have been equipped with in the Hive Zealy campaign, I have grown some of my crypto portfolio and also learned the best way to stay strong amidst the bear market. Several spaces held on X have been a blessing, as I learned much about the upcoming bull market and how to position myself.
The December Zealy outreach was mainly focused on the X account, reaching other web users in X and interacting with them depending on the two topics on which we have been working. This tactic brought more followers to my account through the engagement.
Imagine making 702 posts so far on X; this was a result of zealy activities. This account has been dormant since 2022, with just less than 50 followers, but now has 141 followers. A lot of people now monetize their X activities. I plan to look into it soon, as we had a session on X monetization. Trust me, Zealy is loaded with information. My brain got widened even more.
The Zealy campaign has exposed me to the use of X and given me a clearer picture of what I wasn't doing right on X, which is growing my X account to reach more potential Web3 users. Today I posted tweets with eye-catching images, attracting users to my page. I also learned how to requote and retweet creative texts to draw the attention of the audience.
What should I do differently?
I have come to understand that the importance of engagement cannot be overstated in every project, even outside the blockchain. The growth you see today came as a result of engagement, more interactions, and consistent activities on X. However, I plan to keep building my X account by engaging in more interactions, joining spaces, and following potential users for more knowledge through their posts.
Finally, to the INLEO team, I applaud you guys for such a thoughtful initiative and the progress so far with the INLEO front end. Things are getting better and stronger 💪 each day Most Importantly, the undiluted knowledge you guys dish out to us has changed the narratives forthe better.
Overall, it's been decent progress so far in growing my X account. I look forward to seeing more growth as I remain consistent with my activities on X even after the Zealy campaign.
