They say if you fail to plan, then you're planning to fail. That's a popular saying I got to understand it full meaning last year, and after taking action to lay down my goals, I was thrilled by how much I was able to achieve in the previous year. As we've dived into a new year, I'll love to lay down my Hive goals for the year 2024, and in order to be even more committed to them, I've decided to join the Saturday Savers Club initiative as an avenue to help me stay in line with my plans.
2023 was a blessed year for me, with loads of accomplished goals and ambition. That almost seemed impossible from the start, but through commitment and dedication to that course, I was able to achieve most, do more than what I set, and the few that weren't achieved, I got to a reasonable height in them.
So with that in mind, like I said, I'll love to be a part of the Saturday Savers Club. I spoke with my friend Nkem, and she guided me with loads of explanations on how to go about it, and I'd just like to integrate it with my hive goals and let both go hand in hand as we proceed on the train of 2024, and they're as slated below.

- 7000 HP: In this year, 2024, I'll love to double my Hive power holdings before the year runs out. Although I began the year with a total of 7,276 HP, I believe adding 7,000 more to that would be an extraordinary year for me making a total of 14,275HP. To achieve this, I'll need to blog every day this year, and I hope fortune smiles on them, also increase HP mean my support on other people's post will be more valuable, also I'll earn more curation rewards.
- 1 HIVE POWERUP, ONE SAVE DAILY: last year I was able to power up 1 hive throughout the 365 days, and this year I'll love to do the same, but adding to that, I'll also want to save at least 1 hive daily into the saving segment of my wallet. The aim of this is to grow and have more liquid hive, and in total, at the end of the year, I should have powered up 365 hive via the daily power-up and also have at least 365 Hive in savings by December 31st, 2024, basically the interest is my charge, and I see it as a way of my money yielding me something worthwhile.
- 1 HBD SAVED DAILY: This year I want to build my portfolio and increase the rate at which I save. While there's no interest for having Hive in savings, when powered up, there's for HBD, and that's a 20% April return, so savings of 1 HBD daily will at the end of the year give me at least 365 HBD. I presently have 180 HBD in savings, so if at the end of the year I add the 365 I'd added to it, then I should have at least 545 HBD in savings.
- 5000 LEO TOKEN: presently I've got 558 Leo tokens staked in my hive-engine wallet; by the end of the year, I'll love to have at least a total of 5000, meaning I'll need an increase of 4442 Leo tokens. Basically, to get this amount, I'll need to be actively buying with my HBD earnings via post-reward, and with at least 370 Leo powered up monthly, will help attain my goal by December and become a cub according to Leo pride ranking.

- DVS, LGN, and NEOXAG TOKEN: this year I want to increase my holdings for some layer two tokens, and aside from the Leo token that I have as my primary goal, the other ones are secondary. For LGN, the ambition is to have 1000 stakes; I've got 908 presently; having 100 more would be awesome and would take it to a total of 1008; for DVS, I've got 754, and I'll need 246 more to get to a thousand; and for Neoxag, I want to attain at least 150,000 stakes before the year runs out. Unlike others that I'll have to buy to accomplish the goals, I'll only be using the tags to accommodate Neoxag, for which I currently have 101,951 stakes.
- 20 HBD MONTHLY SAVINGS: I've got some things I'll love to get this new year, and one of them is another solar panel. That's because I needed one that'd be strong enough to carry other house appliances, so having another one will meet my need, and it'll cost about $150. Don't worry, I'll use most of my offline earnings and only have a few from these savings, while the remaining HBD savings from these are basically for an emergency fund should something unexpected come up.
That's about all on my hive in conjunction with the Saturday Savers Club goal for the year 2024. I pray I'll be able to action each and every one of them before the year runs out, even though most of them are aimed at being accumulated via post reward, which is why I want to post daily throughout the year and also participate in every single Power Up month like I did last year.
