Two important things that I like to highlight. Firstly, we have a very BIG family. Big enough that on certain ocassion, if everyone comes together, then we ran out of spaces. Secondly, our middle class family knows how to make best of anything.
I highlighted these points because I am going to share some fun and enjoyment full time that our family boys had just prior to pandemic lockdown. The best part of this pandemic isolation is that, we can enjoy our moments in best of way. It was the beginning of summer and our brothers and nephew (elders as well as younger) came together during a weekend. As mercury started to soaring, we decided to visit Ganga Ghat to take holy dip. It was only 5 km away from my sister home.
What used to be a casual plan comes out to be a gala time. Once we reached the spot, we had loads of fun. Who wants a water park, when we can have complete enjoyment in fresh flowing river. Wrestling, sand bath, photography, and water football. Thst is reason I mentioned earlier that, we our middle class family knows how to make best of anything.
It started with my elder cousin. It was his plan to visit Ganga early on the day. The water used to be bit cold. And also he is very fond of doing swimming. Don't go by his weight, he is very athletic and agile in real. The moment he reach to spot, he started to have fun. Like water running.
Few of my family members started to warm up a bit. They are fond of wrestling. Having some cool sand, at the bank of Ganga, he take charge of Indian Desi Wrestling. It was not so aggresive, but enough to make you sweat. Our Desi Akhara, (Wrestling ring) have only sand for Wrestling work out, so he quickly sat to have one on one boat with each other.
My elder cousin who had some quick running in water, decided to take some rest and enjoy wrestling. Without wasting any time, he was covered under the cool sand of Ganga. Our rest of the family member helped him to cover him ompletelly.

Finding it as a good opportunity, one of my nephew started to get himself clicked. He does have a photogenic face, and physique. He always like to get himself clicked. So how he gonna miss the golden opportunity of doing some shirtless photo shoot at the bank of Ganga.

It was those time of weekend, when each of us were having our own part of fun and enjoyment. It had everything, water sport, sand sport, photoshoot and what else, we were killing the summer heat. After playing, and some sporting event, we ended up bathing and taking dip in the holy water. And one by one started to give up as body started tiring.
It was supposed to be an hour time, but we ended up spending more than 3 hrs at Ganga Ghat. Now if you are wondering, Where am I in all these. To tell you all, I was busy capturing the moments. There is no remorse to say, that the man behind camera was me. I was enjoying my part by clicking all these as moments along with spending some quality time with family members.
The moments was one of the many happy weekend time that we as a family enjoyed together. Loads of fun and some precious moments for a lifetime.
