Stella was from a middle-class family. She was the first child of her parents. She had two siblings after her. When Stella was one year old, her parents enrolled her in Marylia Private school, although the school fees were expensive. Her father struggled hard to pay their school fees and to cater for them. Stella was able to speak fluently at her tender age and was also able to grab things fast which made her preferred to other students in her school.

Stella turned out to be very brilliant and respectful because she received very good home training from her parents. Stella's dedication in school to her studies made most students take her as their role model.

Stella's siblings' names were Joyce and Peter. They were also like Stella. Joyce was in primary two (2) while Peter was in nursery two (2). They were very brilliant just like their sister, Stella. When Stella was in primary five (5), she met a girl named Gloria. Gloria was in primary six (6) and was also brilliant and pretty. Gloria was very friendly to Stella the first day they met. This gave Stella the impression that Gloria was very perfect and someone to reconnect with as a friend.

Gloria was the only daughter of a rich Merchant, Salaam. She lacks all necessary home training because she was over pampered by her dad. Gloria's mum died when she was still young. Her death was during Gloria's delivery. Her mum was not properly operated on by the doctors and so, she lost her life. Gloria's dad swore never to make his daughter feel she never had a mother and said also that he will take proper care of her and will provide her with all she needed as a girl in life.

Gloria and Stella became the best of friends and were often seen around each other. Gloria was gradually influencing Stella with her negative character but Stella never noticed. Stella's parents began to see some changes in their daughter's character and called her to lecture her. Stella is keen on their warning saying "never follow bad gangs instead follow the godly ones and the ones who can always put you into the line of success because evil communication corrupts good manners". Stella felt bad being trying to weary away and then, made up her mind to correct Gloria about her attitude as she has been noticing some weird character Gloria poses.

Stella walked up to Gloria and told her about her behaviour, but to Stella's surprise, Gloria Gloria pretended to be a changed person. Stella told Gloria to remember that "behaviour is just like smoke that does not hide". So, when you say you have changed, I will accept until I see it for real. Stella told Gloria.

Gloria and Stella became close again and even more than before, but her behaviour became worse. Stella doesn't care about anything again as she has been influenced negatively once again by Gloria. Her siblings were reporting all her wrong deeds to their parents as they are in the same school. After knowing this, she scolded her siblings and told them not to try to report her to her parents any longer.

Stella became extra close to Gloria to the extent that no one would be able to stop their friendship. Her mother tried hard to stop her and even talked to Stella related to her recent behaviour, but yet, she felt adamant. Stella's parents need to go to Gloria's home to report this issue to her dad. When her dad heard about this he was furious and indeed was seriously angry but had nothing to do with her only daughter as he has promised her to take care of her to the fullest since her mum was late. Gloria's dad wept after hearing about his daughter's bad behaviours. Mr salaam called her daughter, Gloria at night to caution her of her bad deeds. He scolded her to always be a good daughter so that he can take her to where she ever deserved in life.

After the series and advice, she was calming down gradually but with a lot of people intervening in her life. Stella on the other hand became changed immediately her parents took her to meet up with her school head to talk to her. All her wrong deeds as well as Gloria's were narrated to the school head and he gave them advice with lots of strength to make them understand that life is easy when you make it one.

After some weeks, the two changed and we're doing so great in the class. Stella came back to the very person she was. She was now as Brilliant as ever. Gloria also changed drastically and Mr Salaam was very happy to have seen his only child change. They remain best friends together.
