The Boatswain
The Hephaestus was a 30-year-old bulk carrier, so it was considered by its crew and the company to be a geezer. Although it had been modernized with engines, generators, its navigation system, and cargo estimation equipment, it was still an old shell. Another ten years and it would go to the junkyard. -@ricardo993

Cyranoid
It was 2 am when I received a call from Mr. Chin, my Confessor. He's a professional banker who keeps records of financial statements and transactions. but that wasn't his real occupation, it was a cover-up. Mr. Chin is known for his skills in collecting secrets from dangerous criminals or people that wish to hide their dark past, then he inputs them into a flash drive. And those Flash drives are hidden in a briefcase, stored in a safe vault. The vault is built with an eye-retina recognition system, only accessible by Mr. Chin. -@ubani1
It sounds to me as though our protagonist needs to lead a life with less secrets :)) I personally wouldn't be able to sleep at night worrying about such things. -@agmoore

The Marines
The movie was being played and of course, all of us were being silent. Perhaps all of us were too focused on watching that movie. We made sure to lower down the sound because there were neighbors nearby. Again, it's like the house of our friend felt like there was a ghost roaming around. It was so silent that I thought I could hear the sound of the wind blowing. [email protected]

The Price For The Flower
He could not stop thinking about Princess Salima, his soulmate and love of his life, for whom he embarked on this journey. She was battling a blood disease that could claim her life any moment if she was not already dead. The healers had informed the King that only the dewdrops of the Middlemist Red flower could heal her. -@kemmyb
What a beautiful story, @kemmyb!
It is a beautiful application of the logline!
You managed a text has a flavour of a timeless tale, of those that are transmitted orally, from generation to generation. It contains the idea of magic and selfless love characteristic of medieval tradition. A beauty! -@gracielaacevedo

On the Eve of Decay
His apprentice remained silent- the Royal Council’s letter in his hand. The web of words flickered like spidery shadows beneath the fire light. The council had rejected his master’s proposal for saving the inhabitants of the inner realms from the ill effects of the Grand Decay- an event that would forever change the very foundations of the inner universe. Destroy it even, for all physical laws would undergo an inevitable and irreversible transformation. -@litguru
there are more things in heaven and earth Horatio than are Dreamt of in your philosophy
So declares Hamlet to his loyal counselor and friend. And here we have in your story:
It couldn’t be. It was pure madness to Horatio. A fantastic vision of the future. Something he could never have dreamed of in his philosophy. No wonder the council rejected his master’s proposal. The implications were heretical.
You are a wonderful, clever writer, and I had fun tracing this. Thanks for another entertaining ride, @litguru. -@agmoore

Therapy Session
At the Cafe we all ordered cheese sandwiches and orange juice. We were talking about school stuff when Suzie got a call, it was her dad. Apparently she was late for something and had to go, leaving Chris and I alone. Once she left it felt as if all the vibe left with her. Suddenly there was nothing to say, we made a few efforts but there was never any topic that lasted more than two replies. -@b0s
I am sure that was the right decision for Clara. She did something which is not common but I believe it was the right punishment for her first mistake. I also believe that she will behave in the future. -@sunnyag
