The world inventions: The case of the coffee mugs!

We have the history and the origin of many things. But we are not sure about everything, and maybe there is too little data on something. But coming to the surface of all products that have ever been invented, is a sensible thing to focus the attention on.

We should live the life as good as we can, and sometimes you must use all your power with all thinkable imaginations when coming the ways further on! We do not know too much about the coffee mugs, but we think that it was around the year 600 after Jesus Christ that the mugs were invented in China. But we cannot be sure with this year, but probably this was the beginning of the markets for the coffee mugs. In the beginning, there were markets! We should use all market knowledges and market intelligence of all kinds when acting in different markets.

You cannot be sure about what to drink at every time, and what should be the nutrition of everything at the whole earth, since there is different history and tradition for many thing in the world. In the first coffee shop, Kiva Han, which opened in Constantinople in 1475, wooden mugs were used. This marked the start of using coffee mugs in the markets. But we have seen these coffee mugs being used before! We know today that porcelain was invented in China around 600 after Jesus Christ. Therefore porcelain's alternate moniker, “china” or “fine china” and other ceramics became one of the preferred materials for mugs. You should always find the alternatives in the markets, and when there are new products, the best educated and most aware customers try the first alternatives. There are also ways and opportunities in the market in question, and the trade is about understanding, buying and selling and data in economic history!

So, what am I and other plausible customers doing when doing things in the markets? We find products that are matching our needs, and we can be innovative or traditional, and this is what we learn in the business schools in the world. And you cannot deny these institutions, since there is much research on it, what experiences we have ever made, and what different things in the markets mean for theory and methods. Any theory can be developed, and the same is true for any method!

As with all products, there are product developments worldwide. And hence, there is an intensively hard competition of reaching your heart and your brain with cognition, emotions and actions about the products that we find. The fundamental thing is the need, and you can pay what you want for that need in different markets. Therefore we have the adoption curve from Rogers, and this mean that the diffusion of information in the markets, means meeting the different people as innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority and laggards. We have things as memories and traditions and tastes in the markets, and the philosophy of markets are represented in the best business schools, and you do not find too much of it in the country I am coming from, and that is Norway. You find these markets more developed and more properly adapted in other countries. But since we know marketing, that is about how you get a product and maybe also a brand into a market. So, we can make different guesses about what is happening with the foundation of what we know. And in addition, we can change the research fronts everywhere. A product at every time, is something we are used temporarily until there is a new and a better product there!

Nowadays, we have the drinking mugs of different material, and we are using much metal, porcelain, ceramics, glass, plastic, hardened plastic, cardboard and wood. Sometimes, we have a handle on the cup. And we are using the production processes to make the mugs. Any detail in reality can be worth doing research on. And we are surrounded by products today, and of alle the countries that are there, we find the attention and the awareness of brands on products and on organizations with different history and different traditions everywhere. We cannot be better in our backgrounds than the schools we are coming from, but we can pull the strip even further. In the markets, the moon is the best product. But if you cannot find this product, go for the stars! And as we are saying and writing in the markets: Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars!
