What an invention with the camera! And it is just a room where you are, and I am, or there is just a person taking a picture in nature. It is marvellous, and the pictures have been there for a long time. We have pictures just as still images and as living images.
The camera's history can be traced back to the Middle Ages with the first pinhole camera. How did it start all these things? The camera comes from vaulted building; arched roof or ceiling, and from Latin camera a vault, vaulted room.
The word also was used from early 1800 century as a short form of Modern Latin camera obscura "dark chamber", a black box with a lens that could project images of external objects, contrasted with camera lucida 1750, Latin for "light chamber" which uses prisms to produce on paper beneath the instrument an image which can be traced of a distant object. Hence, we have not had the word camera to all times, but there has been much research in the instruments doing it, and the pictures have been white and black, and in new times, the pictures are in colors.
The use of photographic film was pioneered by George Eastman, who started manufacturing paper film in 1885 before switching to celluloid in 1888–1889. His first camera, which he called the "Kodak", was first offered for sale in 1888. Hence, the camera has been an instruments we have used in history to create films and still images, and the picture is a place where you and I were in nature and in reality in earlier time at a specific place. And we are living when being in life, and still images are just some pictures we have taken to measure a specific time in life! Life is always in development, since the body is not always equal from time to time. But we are using our bodies different places in life. Every working effort is just a measure about being when being!
So, what is the special with this invention? We could not take pictures before long back in time, but today we have the innovation present to do what we want. And many people have albums of photos at their home and at their working area. Cameras evolved from the camera obscura through many generations of photographic technology – daguerreotypes, calotypes, dry plates, film – to the modern day with digital cameras and camera phones. And pictures are just processes and products where people have done several things with their bodies and ways of being!
The first partially successful photograph of a camera image was made in approximately 1816 by Nicéphore Niépce, using a very small camera of his own making and a piece of paper coated with silver chloride, which darkened where it was exposed to light. The history of the camera, started with drawings and speculations before Jesus Christ. But the first camera was known as a pinhole camera, and the known description of pinhole photography is found in the 1856 book The Stereoscope by Scottish inventor David Brewster, including the description of the idea as a camera without lenses, and with only a pin-hole.
Taking pictures is both used seriously in businesses, and it is also used for private purposes and for pleasure. We are making the countries great again by using pictures, and the books and the journals are even richer and better with pictures. And many people have much knowledges about the cameras and the pictures, and we should use ourselves and our talents and knowledges to find wisdom and funny things in human nature and in nature. The publication Sage means being richer and more wise in cognition in nature!
A camera today is an apparatus and a lens, and you can choose the lens when having bought the apparatus. And both the apparatus and the lens have a technology that has been developed through human times.
