Cuando vi la imagen proporcionada por @shaka para la ronda de esta semana mi mente quedó en blanco, es un lindo paisaje urbano, un paisaje en donde casi todos vivimos, una selva de cemento, a los pocos días después de observar detenidamente la imagen me puse a pensar en como muchas veces destruimos los recursos naturales para nuestra comodidad, obtener riquezas y eso me hizo preguntarme ¿cuanto más aguantará nuestro planeta? ¿qué pasaría si la naturaleza se volviera en nuestra contra? Seria una catástrofe y esa fue la idea que me inspiró para trabajar en mi collage.
When I saw the image provided by @shaka for this week's roundup my mind went blank, is a nice urban landscape, a landscape where almost all of us live, a concrete jungle, a few days after looking closely at the image I started thinking about how many times we destroy natural resources for our comfort, get riches and that made me wonder how much more will our planet endure? What would happen if nature turned against us? It would be a catastrophe and that was the idea that inspired me to work on my collage.

Primero recorte minuciosamente la imagen, para ello utilicé la herramienta de borrador, ya que los bordes quedan más suaves a la vista que con la herramienta de varita mágica o lazo, después empecé a dibujar sobre el lago, cambiándolo de color agregando burbujas supurantes y la criatura marina oculta debajo del agua, luego pase la imagen por un filtro (posterizar) para darle ese aspecto de pintura descamada de las paredes, pinte el humo y finalmente utilice 2 imágenes de Pixabay de uso libre para el cielo de fondo y el dragón, luego lleve la imagen a Pixaloop en su versión paga donde agregue las animaciones, el fuego de la boca del dragón, las llamas de las casas, humo negro de las llamas los rayos y niebla que sale del lago.
First I carefully cropped the image, for this I used the eraser tool, as the edges are smoother to the eye than with the magic wand or lasso tool, then I started drawing over the lake, changing the color by adding oozing bubbles and the sea creature hidden under the water, then I ran the image through a filter (posterize) to give it that peeling paint look of the walls, painted the smoke and finally used 2 free Pixabay images for the background sky and the dragon, then I took the image to Pixaloop in its paid version where I added the animations, the fire from the dragon's mouth, the flames from the houses, black smoke from the flames the lightning and fog coming out of the lake.
