Here I am again to participate in round 42.
As I said before, the contest has become a space for creativity and good competition. More and more users are coming to share their work on @lmac and that makes each of us grow as participants.
With the image of @shaka I thought of three things: the green monster in Fenway Park, Babe Ruth and Betty Davis.
The three ideas are totally different. If I had worked with the Curse of the Bambino I would have done something scary.
If I had worked with Betty Davis (an acclaimed actress who was born in Boston) I would probably have created an outdoor movie theater.
But I couldn't get the idea of the "Green Monster" out of my head and that's what I worked on because I like baseball.
The Green Monster in Fenway Park has a very well-known story. In my collage is a baseball player walking towards home plate. What I did has to do with baseball but with fantasy. That's why the 25 foot high fence in my collage is a green sky with a bright-eyed monster that will "scare" all the hitters.
Also, I thought, this idea would result in a nice postage stamp.

Aquí estoy de nuevo para participar en el round 42.
Tal como lo he dicho antes el concurso se ha convertido en un espacio para la creatividad y la sana competencia. Cada vez se acercan más usuarios para compartir sus trabajos en @lmac y eso hace que haya crecimiento en cada uno de nosotros como participantes.
Con la imagen de @shaka pensé en tres cosas: el monstruo verde en Fenway Park, Babe Ruth y Betty Davis.
Las tres ideas son totalmente diferentes. Si hubiese trabajado con la Maldición del Bambino hubiese hecho algo tenebroso.
Si hubiese trabajo con Betty Davis (actriz consagrada que nació en Boston) probablemente hubiese creado una sala de cine al aire libre.
Pero no se me salía de la mente la idea del “Monstruo Verde” y en definitivas eso fue lo que trabajé porque además me gusta el béisbol.
El Monstruo Verde en Fenway Park tiene una historia muy conocida. En mi collage está un jugador de béisbol caminando hacia el home. Lo que yo hice tiene que ver con el béisbol pero con fantasía. Por eso la valla de 25 pies de altura en mi collage es un cielo verde con un monstruo de ojos brillantes que “asustará” a todos los bateadores.
Además, pensé, que esta idea daría como resultado una bonita estampilla postal.
Espero que disfruten de esta idea.
