Happy beginning of the week and happy beginning of the year. Round 106 of this artistic dynamic where we must create a collage based on an image. "LINK Contest".
This time the very beautiful original image is as follows:
Feliz inicio de semana y feliz inicio de año. Ronda 106 de esta dinámica artística donde debemos crear un collage a base de una imagen. "LINK Contest".
En esta ocasión la imagen original muy hermosa es la siguiente:
At first I thought of making a kind of floating island and I was looking for images in the LMAC gallery and other pages like pixabay and I changed my mind. The first thing I did was to cut out the background and leave only the rocks as foreground.
En principio se me ocurrió hacer una especie de isla flotante y estuve buscando imágenes en la galeria LMAC y otras páginas como pixabay y cambié de parecer. Lo primero que hice fue recortar el fondo y dejar solo las rocas como primer plano.
As background landscape I used the image of the author felix_merler (Image link) as I found it quite interesting and it was the basis of my idea for this collage. I liked how it merged with the image as if they were one.
Como paisaje de fondo utilicé la imagen del autor felix_merler (Link de la imagen) ya que me pareció bastante interesante y fue la base de mi idea para este collage. Me gustó como se fusiono con la imagen como si fueran una sola.
Then I added a pair of eyes watching us from inside the mountain, these are the creation of my friend @edgarafernandezp (Image link ). I changed a little the tone of the image to a color that I like a little more.
Luego agregué un par de ojos que nos observan desde adentro de la montaña, estos son creación del amigo @edgarafernandezp (Link de la imagen ). Cambié un poco el tono de la imagen a un color que me agrada un poco más.
I noticed that the sky was a bit empty and I spent a long time looking for a suitable image and I got a very good one from my friend @quantumg (Link to the image) and another one from my friend @mballesteros (Link to the image), I added a blending effect to integrate them to the collage.
Noté que el cielo estaba un poco vacío y estuve largo rato buscando alguna imagen apropiada y conseguí una muy buena del amigo @quantumg (Link de la imagen) junto a otra del amigo @mballesteros (Link de la imagen)), les coloqué un efecto de fusión para integrarlas al collage.
Despite the eyes on the rock I was not satisfied and I had the idea of placing some animal or structure in that space, after a long time I found the right one. Image from my friend @agmoore (Image link), I eliminated the background since what interests me is the beautiful whale structure. I placed some soft clouds with a brush trying to create a height effect.
A pesar de los ojos en la roca no me sentía conforme y tuve la idea de colocar algún animal o estructura en ese espacio, luego de bastante rato encontré la indicada. Imagen del amigo @agmoore (Link de la imagen), eliminé el fondo ya que lo que me interesa es la hermosa estructura de ballena. Coloqué algunas nubes suaves con un pincel tratando de crear un efecto de altura.
At this point I was quite happy with the result, but seeing this man with open arms and light towards the sky, it occurred to me to give an effect that he is being abducted by entities that do not belong to our planet, or maybe they do, who knows.
En este punto ya estaba bastante conforme con el resultado, pero al ver a este hombre de brazos abiertos y una luz hacia el cielo, se me ocurrió darle un efecto que esta siendo raptado por entidades que no pertenecen a nuestro planeta, o tal vez sí, quien sabe.
The image of the ship is property of KELLEPICS (Image link) and edited a little in the tones for a greater effect of light.
