Zum 73zigsten mal öffnet @shaka für uns die Pforte, zu seiner allseits beliebten LMAC CHALLENGE und präsentiert dieses Foto welches es gleich zu bearbeiten gilt.
For the seventy-third time, @shaka opens the gate for us, to his ever-popular LMAC CHALLENGE and presents this photo which is about to be edited.
Ein sehr schönes Bild, welches mich an die Umgebung rund um meinen Angelplatz auf den Klippen an der Atlantikküste erinnert. Tatsächlich sieht es dort fast identisch aus und der Verdacht drängt sich auf, das der Fotograf den Auslöser in Portugal gedrückt hatte.
Ob es an dem ist, weiß ich natürlich nicht.
Das dieses Foto aber viel Spielraum bietet um eine Collage zu erstellen, wusste ich sofort und machte mich auch gleich an die Arbeit.
A very nice picture that reminds me of the environment around my fishing spot on the cliffs on the Atlantic coast. It looks almost identical there and the suspicion arises that the photographer had pressed the shutter in Portugal.
Whether it is at that, I do not know of course.
But this photo offers a lot of scopes to create a collage, I knew immediately and went to work.
Och nö, die zwei Arbeiten waren mir dann doch zu hart, beziehungsweise zu nahe an der Realität und heute steht mir der Sinn eher nach seriöser Kunst.
Daher beschloss ich das ohnehin schon sehr schöne Bild nicht zu verunstalten, sondern es lediglich noch etwas aufzuhübschen und heraus kam das folgende.
Oh no, the two works were then too hard for me, respectively too close to reality and today I feel more like serious art.
Therefore, I decided not to deface the already very beautiful picture, but only to brighten it up a bit, and out came the following.
Dieses kleine, durch seine Einfachheit bestechende Gemälde, soll dann auch meine Eintrittskarte ins Finale der #letsmakeacollage Challenge sein.
Ob es allerdings noch welche gibt, das weiß ich nicht zu sagen und lasse mich daher überraschen.
This small, by its simply captivating painting, shall then also be my ticket to the finals of the #letsmakeacollage Challenge.
Whether there are still some, however, I do not know to say and therefore let me surprise.
Weniger überraschend kommen diese zwei Entwürfe daher, die in meinem Atelier entstanden.
Less surprising are these two designs, which were created in my studio.
Das übliche Chaos eben und ein Zeugnis dessen, das der Prozess des Collagen basteln immer wieder voller Überraschungen steckt. Im Falle dieser zwei Werke war mir die Überraschung aber zu grell, um weiter daran zu arbeiten.
The usual chaos and a testimony to the fact that the process of making collages is always full of surprises. In the case of these two works, however, the surprise was too glaring for me to continue working on it.
