Hola chicas y chicos. | Hello girls and boys.Espero se encuentren súper bien, el día de hoy haré un pequeño espacio en mi blog para hacer algo diferente a lo que acostumbro, participaré en una iniciativa que me pareció muy interesante y estaré hablándoles un poco del lugar donde nací y pase gran parte de mi vida.
Lo que me gusta de esta iniciativa es que nos da la oportunidad tanto de conocer otros lugares del mundo como de mostrar ese pequeño punto en el mapa donde nos sentimos identificados, lo que conocemos como nuestro hogar.
Yo nací y pase gran parte de mi vida en un pueblo llamado Caripito, aunque he estado moviéndome a diferentes lugares, este es el que considero mi hogar, no es muy interesante pero como siempre digo cada lugar tiene su magia y peculiaridades que lo hacen único y especial, a continuación les hablaré un poco de ello.

I hope you are super well, today I will make a small space on my blog to do something different from what I am used to, I will participate in an initiative that I found very interesting and I will be talking a little about the place where I was born and spend a large part of my life lifetime.
What I like about this initiative is that it gives us the opportunity both to see other places in the world and to show that little point on the map where we feel identified, what we know as our home.
I was born and spent a large part of my life in a town called Caripito, although I have been moving to different places, this is what I consider my home, it is not very interesting but as I always say, each place has its magic and peculiarities that make it unique and special, then I will talk a little about it.
Caripito
🔴 Caripito es una parroquia perteneciente el municipio Bolívar en realidad es la única, se encuentra en Venezuela al oriente del país en el estado Monagas, Tiene una superficie de 270 km² y cuenta con una población de 51.934 habitantes aproximadamente. Su temperatura es tropical, generalmente hace muchísimo calor pero hay ciertos meses del año donde llueve muy seguido prácticamente a diario y aun así hace mucho calor.
Presenta una vegetación exuberante, perteneciente a la formación vegetal boscosa húmeda tropical.
Referente a la economía predomina la agropecuaria, actualmente el cacao se ha convertido en la más popular, también hay algunas fincas donde se produce leche y queso. | 🔘 Caripito is a parish belonging to the Bolívar municipality, it is actually the only one, it is located in Venezuela in the eastern part of the country in the Monagas state. It has an area of 270 km² and has a population of approximately 51,934 inhabitants. Its temperature is tropical, it is generally very hot but there are certain months of the year where it rains very often practically every day and even so it is very hot.
It presents exuberant vegetation, belonging to the tropical humid wooded plant formation.
Regarding the economy, agriculture predominates, currently cocoa has become the most popular, there are also some farms where milk and cheese are produced.

🔴 En cuanto al turismo la naturaleza nos proporcionó algunos atractivos que se han convertido en el punto de encuentro en algunas fechas festivas del año especial mente semana santa, diciembre y carnavales. Estos lugares son las aguas termales del balneario los Morros y el balneario La Bomba en aguas del río Caripe, la cascada El Nazareno, el balneario La Chorrera, balneario Chupulún, la poza de azufre, pozo El Encantado y la caída de agua Valle Soto. | 🔘 Regarding tourism, nature provided us with some attractions that have become the meeting point on some festive dates of the year, especially Easter, December and carnivals. These places are the thermal waters of the Los Morros spa and the La Bomba spa in waters of the Caripe River, the El Nazareno waterfall, the La Chorrera spa, Chupulún spa, the sulfur pool, El Encantado well and the Valle Soto waterfall.
Folklore
🔴 Caripito es un pueblo muy religioso siempre hay una celebración de este tipo aunque en mi opinión creo que esto se debe a las festividades que realizan más que por ser devotos como tal. Se celebran festividades religiosas como la escenificación de la Pasión y Muerte de Jesús, procesiones, el desfile de centurias romanas, la quema de Judas y otros actos propios de la Semana Santa, esta es la celebración que más hace popular a este pueblo de hecho le apodaron la Jerusalén de Venezuela. En junio la población de Caripito realiza una procesión con el patrono del pueblo "El Sagrado Corazón de Jesús“ además de la celebración de fiesta en honor a la virgen del valle en diversos sectores. También realizan el baile de la Burriquita, y en carnavales realizan las típicas comparsas. | 🔘 Caripito is a very religious town, there is always a celebration of this type, although in my opinion I believe that this is due to the festivities they carry out rather than being devout as such. Religious festivities are celebrated such as the staging of the Passion and Death of Jesus, processions, the parade of Roman centuries, the burning of Judas and other acts typical of Holy Week, this is the celebration that most makes this town popular. they nicknamed the Jerusalem of Venezuela. Espacios públicos e historicos | Public and historical spaces
🔴 Iglesia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús: es el principal templo católico de Caripito. Fue construida en 1936.
• Parque recreativo La Ballena: construido en 1996. Tiene áreas verdes y un parque infantil. En el centro del parque hay una escultura tipo fuente de una orca, hecha de cemento y cabillas.
• Bulevar Monseñor Rafael Pérez Madueño: es un bulevar situado entre el museo religioso y la iglesia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, en el sector Caripito Arriba. Posee jardinerías, iluminación y bancos. Se llama así en honor de Pedro Rafael Pérez Madueño, sacerdote durante muchos años de la Iglesia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.
• Casa de la Cultura Juvenal Ravelo: es una casa de la cultura inaugurada en 1974. Tiene un auditorio, sala de exposiciones, camerinos, sala de conferencias, una biblioteca, salas de usos múltiples y una plaza recreativa interna. Es llamada así en honor de Juvenal Ravelo, artista plástico nativo de Caripito.
• Monumento al Nazareno: construido en 2005 con cemento y cabillas. Consiste en una imagen del Nazareno, de 20 metros de altura, que lleva su cruz a cuesta y vestido con una túnica morada con ribetes dorados. Se sitúa sobre un pedestal de 1, 5 metros.
• Monumento al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús: ubicado en el cerro El Mirador. Fue hecho en 1997 con cemento y cabillas. Tiene 4 metros de alto y representa al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, patrono de Caripito.
• Museo religioso de Caripito: alberga imágenes de tamaño natural y otros objetos de tipo religioso.
| 🔘 Sacred Heart of Jesus Church: it is the main Catholic temple in Caripito. It was built in 1936.
• La Ballena Recreational Park: built in 1996. It has green areas and a playground. In the center of the park there is a fountain-like sculpture of an orca, made of cement and rebar. It is located at the entrance to the Campo Porvenir Sector.
• Bulevar El Rincón: it is a boulevard located in the El Rincón sector, Miranda avenue.4 It has a bust of the hero Francisco de Miranda.
• Monseñor Rafael Pérez Madueño Boulevard: it is a boulevard located between the religious museum and the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús church, in the Caripito Arriba sector. It has gardens, lighting and benches. It is named in honor of Pedro Rafael Pérez Madueño, priest for many years of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
• Casa de la Cultura Juvenal Ravelo: it is a house of culture inaugurated in 1974. It has an auditorium, exhibition hall, dressing rooms, conference room, a library, multipurpose rooms and an internal recreational plaza. It is named in honor of Juvenal Ravelo, a native plastic artist from Caripito.
• Monument to the Nazarene: built in 2005 with cement and rebar. It consists of an image of the Nazarene, 20 meters high, carrying his cross on the slope and dressed in a purple robe with gold trim. It stands on a 1.5 meter pedestal.
• Monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: located on El Mirador hill. It was made in 1997 with cement and rebar. It is 4 meters high and represents the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the patron saint of Caripito.
• Caripito Religious Museum: it houses life-size images and other religious objects.

🔴 Por ultimo algunos lugares donde se suelen pasar ratos agradables con familias y amigos y que forman parte de ese pueblo, El mercado donde la mayoria de los habitantes hacen sus comprar, tenemos una orquesta donde gran parte de los niños y jovenes se inscriben para aprender del arte musical, hace unos pocos años construlleron una chocolatera que se ha convertido en un area muy popular incluso personas de otros lugares vienen solo a comprar chocolates y helados, por ultimo nuestra plaza bolivar que no puede faltar. | 🔘 Finally, some places where pleasant times are usually spent with families and friends and that are part of that town, The market where most of the inhabitants make their purchases, we have an orchestra where a large part of the children and young people sign up to learn from the musical art, a few years ago they built a chocolate factory that has become a very popular area, even people from other places come only to buy chocolates and ice creams, finally our Bolivar square that you cannot miss.
