What does it mean to be Whole - AbundanceTribe QOTW

Life being a continuous cycle not only in physical form but also beyond that, there is a lot that we need to explore outside and within. Wholeness for me is completion of this cycle, understanding life in full circle, coming to a point where we can merge our individual consciousness with the cosmic, universal consciousness. Taking a view from macro to micro, from outside to inside, peeling the layers and going to the core. When one can go through all of these cycles, can one come to a state of wholeness, which also means for me a complete integration with self and the universe, the higher self.

Everything we want to know or need to know is deep within us; we need to peel the layers and surrender to get this divine guidance. When we are able to express gratitude and when we treat everything around us with respect we will be significantly able to transform ourselves for our highest best good and come to the state of wholeness.

Some time back I had visited a Monastery, where I cam across this very interesting Art work, It's called the "Wheel of Life". I also found this painting at various house entrances in the same place. It holds some very strong significance. Depicting different stages of life and cruising through them, a journey where one if follows mindfully can reach to a state of wholeness.

Briefly depicting this picture:
The picture has the center hub, then the spokes and the rim all gripped in the mouth of the Lord of Death. In the 6 spokes the upper ones show happiness and peace while the lower ones depicts suffering and pain. At the hub there are 3 animals, A snake, Cockerel and a Pig symbolizing hatred, ignorance and attachment which we are always being nailed into in some or the other form and giving birth to the 3 destructive emotions that keep coming back to us again and again.

The outer part of the hub is again split into 2 parts if we see one is in white and the other in black with different images. The images on the white side represents the happier actions we take in our lives and the ones on the black side are the wrong actions we take in our lives.

The picture in all depicts that life does not happen in isolation in any of these as depicted, it is an integration of all the positive, negative, good, not good, dark side, light side. And we need to understand all of them, learn and grow from them, confront the dark and move to the light, embrace the negative and progress towards the positives.

We need to understand that our own actions loop us into pain and suffering and we need to break free from it. We can only do this by understanding the nature of life in totality, by understanding the root cause of our problems, attachments, greed, ego and break this cycle.

The outer rim of the wheel displays 12 pictures which represents the course of our lives, from birth till the time we die and within that time we go through all of that what is within the circle, so at the end of it what experience we gain and what learning we take will decide how we have lived our lives.

The Wheel indicates the continuous motion of Life and Death and how we are binded with the sufferings of existence and their causes.
There is a moon and clouds above the demon which Buddha is pointing at, where he is saying that if we follow the path as suggested by him we can attain liberation.

Till the time we do not break through these cycles we will keep going through the karma cycle in physical life forms again and again and be in this vicious cycle. But as soon as we are able to connect with the cosmos, the universe and it's energies, understanding life in totality, following a path of righteousness, reaching to a state of wholeness, we will be able to break through these cycles and liberate ourselves.

The Flower of Life is always reminding us of the divine spark within us symbolizing purification, transformation and wholeness, taking a view from Micro to the Macro, merging with the laws of Universe and the entire creation and exceed much beyond our consciousness and beyond time and space.
