I really wanted to contribute to the Abundance Tribe's Logo Design Challenge. Being a proud supporter of the Tribe and the 8 Pillars it's founded on, I wanted the design to incorporate as many of them as possible.
It'll be obvious I'm not a graphic designer and only use my phone to create all my content. Regular keyboards and mice just don't work for me and having to use them is simply so much slower than using a touch screen. They just feel clunky to me.
I've used many Apps in the past and have pretty much settled on two photo editors I use exclusively. PhotoDirector, which is just one of the products I use from the Cyberlink corp. and is great for quick edits. I first started using their Action Director free video editor and decided to buy the license for a one-time fee of $5. It's well worth the price.
The second and my favorite is simply named Photo Editor. It has mad features and allows me to save my Canon T7i images in full quality. This is the App I used to put all the images together and create the text for this design.
To erase the backgrounds, which was necessary, I used the Android App Background Eraser. The developers **handyCloset inc. did a good job with this one and made the work quite easy for me.
The images I used in the design were all free to use, no attribution needed found through Pixabay. Finding the images was hands down the most time consuming part of this process.
Simple search terms like freedom, abundance, voluntary and peace, for example give limited results from the website. After quite a while, I decided to do a browser search, which brought back a much better variety of images to choose from for Pixabay.
Like the search terms above suggest, I wanted to incorporate those elements into the logo and think I did so quite well.
The meaning of Each Element

I'll start with the background of the banner. I chose a scene from space* to represent the All. Even though the use of the word Tribe insinuates a small group, we are about being inclusive; everything and everyone is equal. We strive to respect all entities living or inanimate.
The hand under the logo represents giving, generosity and being inclusive of all.
The ring of people holding hands and the swirl of hands represent inclusiveness, togetherness, volunteering, love and whatever else you can think of.
Then of course there is the simple phrase that sums everything up, "Peace, Abundance and Voluntary Cooperation." This statement represents everything or much of what the 8 pillars stand for.
Here's the Challenge announcement.
I hope you like them and consider them to be the new symbols of the Tribe. I'm not committed to these as they currently stand and if you like this concept the best, but not my image choices, I'd be glad to redo the same concept with different elements.
Good luck everyone that participated in this great contest.
May 2 is when the judging will take place in the Abundance Tribe Discord, so expect a winner to be crowned shortly after.

Every new experience adds to the respect, wonder and awe I feel when bonding with this living entity we call 🌎.
Please make sure to take the time to get outside and bond with your environment. Your health will thank you at every level of your being and please share your experiences with the world. Personal communal knowledge is beneficial to us all, because this interaction is essential to our evolution.
Thank you and I hope your day unfolds on your terms.
