In one of Kristiansand's districts - Tinnheia - this water tower is found. It's decorated with graffiti all the way around. The district is only a few kilometers from the city center and one of the areas where I often go for a walk. I was here in september last year and chose to take a shortcut down back to the city. I just followed a sign pointing towards the city center.
That's when I passed the water tower. Because it's surrounded by forest it is hidden from the residential area. I didn't just walk passed it. I made a stop and walked all the way around the tower. Actually to check what was an the back side, which is hidden when you walk passed it on the path leading to town.
I saw different signatures so several artists have probably contributed. The artist behind the skull is Crooked Octopus. He has done several good pieces in Kristiansand.
The grafftii continues on the back. It's cramped here, because of the thick forest. When you walk on the path this side is not visible, so I reckon that only the most curious people take the time to walk around it!
Back to the starting point. Even though it is very simple graffiti without the big surprises, it is nice to see that someone made a little out of such a simple building, which is not beautiful in itself. That is why it is hidden in the forest. A little surprise on a regular walk one day in September.
