¿Cómo crees qué la plataforma Hive (más allá del blog), puede transformar vidas y su entorno?
Antes de responder esta pregunta, me gustaría hablar un poco del desarrollo humano en forma general y desde mi punto de vista.

El Desarrollo Humano, tal como lo han reseñado ya otras participaciones en la comunidad, es algo que no se queda únicamente en el desarrollo económico o parámetros que muestran que un país ha avanzado en ciertos aspectos a nivel económico. Esta manera de ver el desarrollo humano quizás se remonta más al Siglo XX.
Pero en la actualidad el enfoque está en ver aspectos más allá de lo económico. ¿Qué necesita el ser humano para desarrollarse? Si nos vamos a la pirámide de Maslow, ya mencionada en entradas previas en la iniciativa de esta semana, vemos que existen ciertos niveles de necesidades o cosas que anteceden a un desarrollo más alto o elevado, desde el punto de vista del éxito o logro de ciertas metas que todo humano puede tener.
Primero, necesitas tener salud y alimentos para poder vivir. Luego, necesitas tener garantizada cierta seguridad en el espacio que habitas. Y luego de esto, aparecen otras necesidades más “blandas” pero para nada menos importantes, como lo son la socialización, entretenimiento, etc. Con todo esto garantizado, lo que queda es lograr una meta superior, algo más significativo para tu vida y la de otros.
Pero ¿Cómo garantizar al menos los dos primeros niveles para todo ser humano en el mundo? Acá ya llegamos a distintos caminos o soluciones que van a depender mucho de cada sociedad/cultura, o, incluso, de la tendencia ideológica de la persona que piense en el problema y quiera formular una solución.
Lo más natural es pensar en cierta forma de organización de personas encargadas de encauzar o destinar recursos a las personas que carecen de estas necesidades básicas. Esta organización bien podría ser el Estado o entes gubernamentales, lo cual está bien, pero a mi modo de ver se requiere más que eso. Es necesario cierto impulso, condiciones, creación de oportunidades, y/o educación, para que estas personas sean capaces de crear la riqueza necesaria para sí mismos. Y con esta cierta riqueza mínima, continuar a niveles más altos de desarrollo personal y humano.
Por lo anterior, vemos que el lado económico no es que quede totalmente descartado del desarrollo humano, pero por lo menos podría decirse que es parte clave, porque allí se genera la riqueza suficiente para auto-sustento de las necesidades básicas. Y el Estado (o cualquier organización de personas), a mi modo de ver, no debería ser visto como el encargado sino como el que crea las condiciones para el desarrollo humano. A partir de acá, otros aspectos como el desarrollo de la creatividad y el espíritu aparecen a la vista.
En términos generales podemos saber, más o menos, qué podríamos considerar desarrollo o no. Sin embargo, el desarrollo de por sí es un concepto muy abstracto, ya que es imposible saber qué nos depara el futuro y cuál será el camino ideal para estar mejor en el futuro.
Hive y la Web 3
Pasemos ahora a hablar de #Hive. La Web 3 se ha convertido en un concepto en donde lo descentralizado toma poder, por lo que el individuo toma también poder por sobre sus creaciones, y por la valoración que hay sobre ellas. Es decir, estaríamos hablando de un sistema que se adapta al ser humano, en lugar de un sistema en donde cada ser humano deba tratar de adaptarse a cómo dé lugar, bajo el control centralizado de grandes empresas o corporaciones.
Este enfoque más humano lo vemos obviamente también en #Hive. Este espacio sirve y ha servido para que miles o incluso millones de personas en todo el mundo puedan desarrollar ese lado humano, aportando creaciones que no solo son expresiones más elevadas de su propio ser, sino que aportan valor al sistema en sí, y a otros usuarios. Y al mismo tiempo, es posible generar valor económico en el proceso.
Me gusta pensar que los creadores de contenido en #Hive vivimos en el futuro por adelantado. Pero pasando a aspectos más allá de la creación de contenido y sus recompensas, lo más importante es lo que nos trae a la humanidad, no solo Hive sino la Web 3 en general. El ejemplo que nos trae Hive es el de un sistema mucho más descentralizado, libre y transparente.
En este post podemos encontrar evidencia del valor que Hive puede crear y finalmente expresar de forma física a través de un proyecto para la dotación de agua potable en una comunidad de África. Y así mismo, proyectos en torno a Hive han sido financiados, como es el caso del evento Hive Street Workout, con la finalidad de promover Hive y el deporte, sobre todo entre los más jóvenes.
Pero más allá del valor que Hive puede aportar en cuanto a recursos físicos, algo que pienso Hive puede aportar y aporta al desarrollo humano es a la capacidad de crear sistemas organizados para la conformación de comunidades o grupos de personas. Así como tenemos al Estado, tenemos también que la propia blockchain es un sistema capaz de englobar e interconectar todas las partes. Esta capacidad de organización a través de la tecnología podría ayudar a resolver muchos problemas en el futuro.

How do you think Hive's platform (beyond blogging) can transform lives and their environment?
Before answering this question, I would like to talk a bit about human development in general and from my point of view.
In the #Humanitas community we invite you to reflect on Human Development in this ongoing initiative: Initiative: Human Culture week 7: Human Development. You still have time to participate.
Human Development, as has already been outlined by other participants in the community, is something that does not remain only in economic development or parameters that show that a country has advanced in certain aspects at the economic level. This way of looking at human development perhaps dates back more to the 20th century.
But nowadays the focus is on aspects beyond the economic. What does the human being need to develop? If we go to Maslow's pyramid, already mentioned in previous entries in this week's initiative, we see that there are certain levels of needs or things that precede a higher or elevated development, from the point of view of success or achievement of certain goals that every human being can have.
First, you need to have health and food to be able to live. Then, you need to be guaranteed a certain security in the space you inhabit. And after that, other more "soft" but not less important needs appear, such as socialization, entertainment, etc. With all this guaranteed, what remains is to achieve a higher goal, something more meaningful for your life and that of others.
But how to guarantee at least the first two levels for every human being in the world? Here we arrive at different paths or solutions that will depend a lot on each society/culture, or even on the ideological tendency of the person who thinks about the problem and wants to formulate a solution.
The most natural thing is to think of some form of organization of people in charge of channeling or allocating resources to people who lack these basic needs. This organization could well be the State or governmental entities, which is fine, but in my opinion more than that is required. There needs to be some impetus, conditions, creation of opportunities, and/or education, so that these people are able to create the necessary wealth for themselves. And with this certain minimum wealth, continue to higher levels of personal and human development.
From the above, we see that the economic side is not totally excluded from human development, but at least it could be said that it is a key part, because it is there that sufficient wealth is generated for self-support of basic needs. And the State (or any organization of people), in my opinion, should not be seen as the one in charge but as the one that creates the conditions for human development. From here, other aspects such as the development of creativity and spirit come into view.
In general terms we can know, more or less, what we might or might not consider development. However, development in itself is a very abstract concept, since it is impossible to know what the future holds and what will be the ideal way to be better off in the future.
Hive and the Web 3
Let's move on to #Hive. Web 3 has become a concept where the decentralized takes power, so that the individual also takes power over his creations, and the valuation of them. In other words, we would be talking about a system that adapts to the human being, instead of a system where each human being must try to adapt as best he can, under the centralized control of large companies or corporations.
This more human approach is obviously also seen in #Hive. This space serves and has served for thousands or even millions of people around the world to develop that human side, contributing creations that are not only higher expressions of their own being, but that bring value to the system itself, and to other users. And at the same time, it is possible to generate economic value in the process.
I like to think that we content creators at #Hive live in the future ahead of time. But moving on to aspects beyond content creation and its rewards, the most important thing is what it brings to humanity, not just Hive but Web 3 in general. The example that Hive brings us is that of a much more decentralized, free and transparent system.
In this post we can find evidence of the value that Hive can create and finally express in a physical way through a project for the provision of drinking water in a community in Africa. And likewise, projects around Hive have been funded, such as the Hive Street Workout event, with the aim of promoting Hive and sport, especially among young people.
But beyond the value that Hive can contribute in terms of physical resources, something that I think Hive can and does contribute to human development is the ability to create organized systems for the formation of communities or groups of people. Just as we have the State, we also have that the blockchain itself is a system capable of encompassing and interconnecting all the parts. This ability to organize through technology could help solve many problems in the future.
