On behalf of the entire Humanitas leadership team, I would like to tell you that we have discussed this new initiative, since we want to promote critical thinking and humanistic reflection on the one hand, and on the other hand promote interaction within the community. As we have expressed in different moments, in Humanitas we want humanistic content of an increasingly higher quality, that our standards of publications and comments grow as the community grows, it is about growing together. For that reason, we have taken the decision to promote a weekly dynamic, trying to emulate (with our perspective) weekly dynamics that other successful communities have on Hive..
Now, #Humanitas is growing and it is not due to the leaders of the community, but to the contribution of each of the Hivers who have contributed with their good content quality, originality and a human reflection in its different nuances. But, it is time to "tighten the rigorousness a little", relax, do not worry, it is not a change of rules, far from it, it is that as a community we will be shaping our feed and with this initiative we seek not only to promote what we have said above but also to educate in humanistic topics to those who are interested but it is not their forte and to those who handle these topics more fluently to deepen in these. I imagine that you are already wondering what this initiative is about and it consists of reflecting on a specific topic each week, in relation to an area of the humanities.
We will try to address each week a different area of the humanities, from a phrase, idea, question or a specific approach, but always leaving to free will the way you present your content to participate, of course, taking care and not overlooking the rules of the community.
Without further ado, this week's initiative is:
Human Culture. Week 1: Philosophy
The idea is that you present a reflection showing us what is your position and how you interpret this phrase by Marty Rubin.
"The existence of things does not depend on the existence of words."
Tell us what is your position on this issue, present your arguments in an original and creative way, this week we seek to investigate and walk a little about philosophy. We know that much has already been written on this subject, there are hundreds of texts from antiquity that think about metaphysics or ontology, addressing this issue from countless perspectives, we think that many people live their lives without reflecting at all these issues, and in this space we want everyone to reflect on it.
As it is an initiative the rules are not too many, you just have to keep in mind the rules of the community. You can present your participation in the format you want, written or audiovisual as you wish, it will be welcome.
- Post with no less than 500 words per language.
- If you do it in video format with a minimum duration of 3 minutes, use 3Speak.
- Good spelling.
- Use the hashtags #humanitas and #humanculture.
- Comment on other entries.
- Invite at least one friend.

Iniciativa: Cultura Humana Semana 1: Filosofía
Es un placer poder presentarles estimados amigos de Hive la nueva dinámica que traemos en la comunidad, en nombre de todo el equipo líder de Humanitas, les comento que hemos conversado esta nueva iniciativa, ya que queremos promover por una lado el pensamiento crítico y la reflexión humanística, y por otro lado promover la interacción dentro la comunidad. Como lo hemos expresado en diferentes momentos, en Humanitas deseamos contenido humanístico de una calidad cada vez más alta, que nuestros estándares de publicaciones y comentarios crezcan conforme la comunidad vaya creciendo, se trata de crecer juntos. Por esa razón, hemos tomado la decisión de promover una dinámica semanal, intentando emular (con nuestra perspectiva) dinámicas semanales que llevan otras comunidades exitosas en Hive.
Ahora bien, #Humanitas está creciendo y no se debe a los líderes de la comunidad, sino al aporte de cada uno de los Hivers que han aportado con su buen contenido calidad, originalidad y una reflexión humana en sus diferentes matices. Pero, es hora de “apretar un poco la rigurosidad”, tranquilos, no se preocupen no se trata de un cambio de reglas, lejos de eso, se trata, que como comunidad vamos a ir perfilando nuestro feed y con esta iniciativa buscamos no solo promover lo que hemos dicho anteriormente sino también, educar en temas humanísticos a quien les interesa pero no es su fuerte y a quien maneja estos temas con más fluidez poder profundizar en estos. Imagino que ya se estarán preguntando de qué se trata esta iniciativa y consiste en la reflexión sobre un tema en específico cada semana, con relación a un área de las humanidades.
Procuraremos abordar cada semana un área diferente de las humanidades, desde alguna frase, idea, pregunta o un planteamiento en específico, pero siempre dejando al libre albedrío el modo de presentar tu contenido al participar, eso sí, atendiendo y no pasando por alto las reglas de la comunidad.
Sin más preámbulo la iniciativa de esta semana es:

Se trata de que presentes una reflexión mostrándonos cual es tu postura y cómo interpretas esta frase de Marty Rubin
“La existencia de las cosas no depende de la existencia de las palabras”
Dinos cual es tu postura sobre este asunto, presenta tus argumentos de manera original y creativa, esta semana buscamos indagar y caminar un poco sobre la filosofía. Sabemos que mucho se ha escrito ya sobre este asunto, hay cientos de textos desde la antigüedad que piensan sobre la metafísica o la ontología, abordando este asunto desde incontables perspectivas, pensamos que muchas personas viven su vida sin reflexionar del todo estos asuntos, y en este espacio queremos que todos puedan reflexionar al respecto.
Como es una iniciativa las reglas no son demasiadas, solo debes tener presente las reglas de la comunidad. Puedes presentar tu participación en el formato que desees, escrito o audiovisual como desees será bienvenido.
