I do not want to pass up this initiative on aesthetic thought, although aesthetics is a branch of philosophy I feel that it is not one of my fortes, I admit that it is one of those areas of my university career that I know deserves more documentation. My limited knowledge on the subject does not allow me to go too deep or how I would like to. So, the next paragraphs that you will read below, more than an attempt of philosophical reflection will be a kind of sharing what for me represents the aesthetic in my life, what role it plays. But before I begin, I would like to invite you to participate in this dynamic that we have proposed in the community, "Click here" to find out what this initiative is all about. Now, the definition of aesthetics can be googled, so I do not intend to give a concept of what aesthetics is, but to say what is obvious. It is a discipline that attempts to reflect on beauty, that is, the judgments and values by which we judge what can be beautiful or ugly.
Now, since I first approached the aesthetic reflection was with the reading of a couple of texts, one was "The beautiful and the sublime" by I. Kant, and others were the various Nietzschean reflections, then I was having different approaches to various aesthetic reflections that have made me think about the link between aesthetics and ethics.
I think that noticing the relationship between these disciplines is at least a little interesting, but, I must confess that I like to think about their link, because I feel that it is really very close. On the one hand we have ethics, which evokes human action, and on the other hand, aesthetics, which deals with the perception of beauty, nowadays the association is a bit far-fetched, but in historical perspective it is not. For the ancient Greeks, what is beautiful is in turn just and good; today it is not so today, but it could be.
Morality cannot remain a mere theoretical conception of what is just or unjust, it is useless to know what injustice is if when we are faced with an unjust act it will not move us to act, and that is why I like to link the perception of aesthetics to morality. I mean, justice is not only worth to know what it is, but it must make us feel pleasure, it must seem to us something beautiful, therefore a just act must seem to us a beautiful action.
On the other hand, injustice must seem to us something ugly and unpleasant, thus and only thus, when we find ourselves in front of an unjust act we will be moved to act by the displeasure it makes us feel and by how ugly it seems to us. Perhaps acting under aesthetic premises in our daily life can be more practical than acting by abstract concepts. Aesthetic judgments are influenced by our sensory perception. Now, the challenge in this case, would be to educate ourselves and propose at a social level criteria, maybe not universal but consistent and enough at a social level that we can unify what we find beautiful and ugly.
To act with beauty would be to be a fair and pleasant person. I feel that it is interesting to insert aesthetic values in our daily actions.

Una reflexión estética en relación con la ética
No quiero dejar pasar esta iniciativa sobre el pensamiento estético, si bien lo estético es una rama de la filosofía siento que no es uno de mis fuertes, admito que es de esas áreas de mi carrera universitaria que sé amerita más documentación. Mis escasos conocimientos al respecto no permiten profundizar demasiado o cómo me gustaría. Así que, los próximos párrafos que leerán a continuación, más que un intento de reflexión filosófica será una especie de compartir lo que para mi representa lo estético en mi vida, qué papel juega. Pero antes de comenzar, quiero invitarte a participar de esta dinámica que hemos propuesto en la comunidad, “Pincha aquí” para enterarte de qué va esta iniciativa. Ahora bien, la definición de estética la podemos googlear, de modo que no pretendo dar un concepto de lo que es estética, más que decir lo que resulta obvio. Es una disciplina que intenta reflexionar la belleza, es decir, los juicios y valores con los que juzgamos lo que puede ser bello o feo.
Ahora bien, desde que me acerqué por vez primera a la reflexión estética fue con la lectura de un par de textos, uno fue “Lo bello y lo sublime” de I. Kant, y otros fueron las diversas reflexiones nietzscheanas, posteriormente fuí teniendo distintos acercamientos a diversas reflexiones estéticas que me han hecho pensar en el vínculo que existe entre la estética y la ética.
Pienso que notar la relación entre estas disciplinas resulta por lo menos un poco interesante, pero, debo confesar que me gusta pensar en su vínculo, pues siento que en verdad es muy estrecho. Por un lado tenemos a la ética que se evoca sobre el actuar humano y por otro a la estética que atiende la percepción de la belleza, ahora bien, actualmente la asociación resulta un tanto rebuscada, pero en perspectiva histórica no lo es. Para el griego antiguo lo que es bello, a su vez es justo y bueno, hoy en día no es tan así pero podría serlo.
La moral no puede quedarse en una mera concepción teoría de lo que es justo o injusto, de nada nos sirve saber que es la injusticia si cuando estamos frente a un acto injusto no nos moverá a actuar, y es por ello que me gusta vincular la percepción de la estética a la moral. Me explico, la justicia no solo vale con saber que es, sino que nos debe hacer sentir agrado, nos debe parecer algo bello, por lo tanto un acto justo nos debe parecer una bella acción.
Por otro lado la injusticia debe parecernos algo feo y desagradable, así y solo así, cuando nos encontremos frente a un acto injusto nos moveremos a actuar por el desagrado que nos hace sentir y por lo feo que nos parece. Quizá actuar bajo premisas estéticas en nuestra cotidianidad nos pueda ser más practico que actuar por conceptos abstractos. En los juicios estéticos influye nuestra percepción sensorial. Ahora bien, el reto en este caso, sería de educarnos y proponer a nivel social criterios, quizá no universales pero sí lo suficientemente consistentes y bastos a nivel social qué podamos unificar lo que nos parezca bello y feo.
Actuar con belleza, sería ser una persona justa, agradable. Siento que es interesante insertar valores estéticos en nuestro actuar cotidiano.
