En el ámbito de la psicología y la conducta, Skinner nos aporta la teoría del "condicionamiento operante", habla sobre la conducta, el individuo con su forma de aprender en lo cotidiano dependiendo del entorno.
Obviamente existen otras teorías que complementan el aprendizaje, pero contextualizados en esta premisa de Skinner, se han generado respuestas significativas en el área psicológica de aceptación a la misma, ya que ha permitido comprender al individuo.
Pues bien, aunque teorías motivacionales, de autoaprendizaje o tecnológicas hoy en día emergen en los diferentes planos conductuales, hablan de otros factores influyentes, sin duda alguna siempre existirán reacciones frente a estímulos.
En lo personal me inclino por aseverar que efectivamente el entorno influye, moldea y da forma a las acciones del individuo, esto básicamente fundamenta muchas opiniones, por ejemplo defensas en el plano legal y jurídico.
Considerando lo anterior, por ejemplo, el entorno de una persona que comete algún crimen, robo, o algún delito en la sociedad posiblemente sea porque proviene de un núcleo familiar destruido, con violencia, falta de valores en medio de un estado destruido.
¿Es culpable el estado de permitir diferencias sociales?
Los estudiosos del derecho, los defensores penalistas opinan que sí, que al no estar en un estado que provea los medios para que los hombres se desarrollen, esto sucederá.
Así que en el contexto anterior, se da pie a respaldar el enunciado de Skinner sobre las acciones del individuo.
Un poco menos drástico, en lo cotidiano de igual forma podemos encontrar ejemplos de cómo se implementa y se comprueba este enunciado.
Por ejemplo, en otra vertiente, miremos el comportamiento ciudadano en alguna ciudad bien cuidada; una persona que puede estar en medio de un ambiente que cuida, que usa papeleras, que invita a preservar seguramente lo hará por imitación.
Simplemente se inclina por mantener los espacios armoniosos que le son brindados para vivir.
A veces las personas se preguntan ¿cómo está todo tan lindo en esta plaza o en esta ciudad?, pero inmediatamente imitan a las personas que cuidan, entonces, Skinner tiene toda la razón y el entorno condiciona.
Desde un enfoque errado de comportamiento, también podemos ubicar el ejemplo de que si nos acostumbramos a una ley de ventajismo, de aprovecharnos de los demás, es cuando se crean vicios, como por ejemplo ese tema de la “viveza criolla” en Venezuela, que no es más que malas costumbres y acciones.
Por su puesto que lo que debería ser es imitar y acostumbrarnos a lo bueno, así podemos aprender lo mejor, e igualmente ser mejores.
Lo ideal seguramente es ser únicos, positivos y seres pensantes en cualquier entorno, pero lo que nos demuestra la vida es lo típico de los seres vivos que nos adaptamos.
