En Hive es muy importante hacer presencia, primero la haces, luego la tienes. Yo lo siento como un juego donde debes ir subiendo de nivel hasta llegar al nivel máximo, la diferencia es que aquí no puedes llegar solo. Debes hacer comunidad, participar, comentar y votar; y además hacerlo dentro de la plataforma. Las otras redes sociales son las que te catapultan para atraer a tus compañeros, amigos, lectores, curadores, etc. a tu blog, y viceversa.
Hace unos días comenté que soy una persona antisocial en las redes, y así era. En la vida real soy bastante sociable, converso y me relaciono con muchas personas (ojo, no me gusta la aglomeración de gente) pero hablar por teléfono, escribir mensajes, leer mensajes me parecía la cosa más aburrida del mundo, porque ¿para qué? Mañana o después le cuento o le comento en persona. Pues no… La gente emigra, se muda, cambia de sitio de trabajo, todos encerrados, la cuarentena y más razones me alejan de la gente con la que quiero o me gusta hablar.
Algunos años atrás y por varias de estas razones mi teléfono se volvió mi mejor amigo y es por eso que no puedo vivir whatsapp por un día (me causa ansiedad, pero les digo no sean así jajaja). Ahora lo es más porque ahora todo es por internet y la necesidad de querer relacionarme con otras personas me atacó. No les voy a mentir, a veces me da flojera y no escribo a nadie a menos que sea muy puntual. Aún así, generalmente estoy metida en mi teléfono haciendo 10 cosas a la vez.
Al llegar a Hive comencé a ver lo de las comunidades, tribus, los distintos grupo y nichos que existen e investigando y leyendo fue como comencé a entender varias cosas:
#1 Las comunidades nos ayudan a segregar nuestras publicaciones y que vaya al público adecuado.
#2 Hay comunidades muy celosas que desean crecer solas.
#3 Hay comunidades que les gusta compartir con otras lo poco o mucho que tengan en común.
#4 Nosotros podemos decidir en cuál o cuántas comunidades pertenecer.
#5 Lo más importante es demostrar que, valga la redundancia, te importe.
#6 Para hacer comunidad hay que interactuar.
Es muy difícil ser hipócrita y además Hive no te dan ganas de serlo, cada comentario es sincero y con cuerpo, porque si no hay nada bueno que decir o es vacío posiblemente termine perdiendo reputación o “bajando de nivel”.
Agradezco a Hive por tener tanta gente humana, por apoyar a crear buenas relaciones, por ayudar a los demás, por las iniciativas que nos sacan de nuestra zona de confort y nos ayudan a hacer comunidad.

In Hive it is very important to make a presence, first you make it and then you have it. I think it is like a game where you must go leveling up until you reach the top, the difference is that here in Hive you can’t go alone. You have to make a community. You must participate, reply, vote and you have to do it on the platform. The other social networks are the ones that catapult you to attract your colleagues, friends, readers, curators and others to your blog and the other way around.
Somedays before I comment that I’m an antisocial in social media, and I was. In real life I’m a sociable person, I talk and I interact with many people (but hey, I do not like to be whit crowds of people) but talk by phone, write or read messages, it seems to me the most boring thing in the world. Because what for? Tomorrow or later I will tell or comment in person. But no… The people emigrate, move away, change the place of work, everybody is locked down, the quarantine and more reasons take me away from people I love or like to talk to.
Some years ago and about some of this reasons my phone became my best friend and it is why I can’t live without Whatsapp for a day (It causes me anxiety, but believe me don’t be like that hahaha) and now it is more because everything is online and the need to want to relate to other people attacked me. But I ain’t gonna lie, sometimes I’m too lazy for it and I don’t write it back to anybody unless it is a punctual thing. Generally I’m on my phone doing 10 things at the same time.
When I got to Hive I started to see about the communities, tribes, other groups and niches that exist and investigating and reading it is how I start to understand some things:
#1 Communities help us to segregate our publications and it helps to get the right audience.
#2 There are communities that are very jealous that wish their communities grown by themself.
#3 There are communities that like to share with others the little or much they have in common.
#4 We can decide in which or many communities we want to join.
#5 The most important thing is to demonstrate that it matters to you.
#6 To make a community you have to interact.
It is very hard to be hypocrite and in addition Hive doesn’t give you a reason for being like that, each comment is sincere and full-bodied, because if you don’t have anything good to say or it is empty it is possible that you lose reputation or “leveling down”.
I thank Hive for having so many human people, for helping to create good relationships, for helping others, for creating initiatives that take us out of our comfort zone and help us for making community.
