We all have different attitudes towards our goal or towards a thing we hope to achieve.
I find that having the right attitude towards your project gives you the much-needed motivation to begin and get through the task.
Having a positive attitude towards your goal is a very important aspect of achieving it. If you keep telling yourself that you can do it then eventually you'll do it, no matter how long it might take.
A few months ago I saw a crochet design I loved. I showed an acquaintance a design and she said "you know you can't do this right". I said to her that if it was humanly possible then I could do it.
She argued for a while and dared me to create the pattern. I accepted the challenge. I took my time to do the necessary research on that design and sometimes it felt like I was getting nowhere.
Eventually, I got it right. It took me almost 8hrs for a pattern that could have taken 2hrs but I did it. The joy I felt after successfully making the design was worth all the pain I had to go through to get there.
It felt hard at some point but I kept telling myself, if someone could do this then I can do it also. Telling myself that encouraged me to keep going.
In my opinion, keeping a positive mindset even when things don't seem easy is important if you're going to achieve anything.
While we cannot ignore the importance of actually putting in the work, it's important to always keep the right attitude. Sometimes we put in the work and it seems like we're going nowhere.
What you tell yourself in difficult situations matters. The right attitude is the first step in solving a problem. Also, your subconscious mind listens and feeds on the words you speak.
Remember to always tell yourself that you can do it. Keep pushing yourself, it may seem hard but no matter how it may seem, little effort is better than no effort at all. Eventually, you will get there and you'll achieve that goal. All the hard work and pain will be worth it when you've achieved that goal.
