Lo que me enseñó el Hive Creators Day [Esp-Eng]

Mañana se cumple una semana del #HiveCDBqto estuve reflexionando sobre los propósitos, saldos sustanciales y alcances que a mí parecer tuvimos la oportunidad de recibir en grandes aprendizajes y experiencias.

Dicho evento, es el segundo en modalidad presencial que asisto sobre Hive, luego de estar 4 meses en la plataforma, que por cierto los cumplí este 20 de junio.

El primer encuentro que asistí de Hive aquí en barquisimeto, trató de una gran oportunidad para conocernos, aprender y compartir. El privilegio fue mayor gracias a la insistencia de una mujer muy creativa @zullyscott quien ha liderizado a la comunidad de hivers de barquisimeto y se logró la visita de grandes creadores y creadoras de la plataforma, para traer al estado el Hive Creators Day.

Me divertí mucho y aprendí grandes cosas, ya que muchas personas durante el encuentro tenían la gentileza de responder muchas de mis preguntas sobre el ecosistema, gracias a estos espacios comparto a continuación mis reflexiones:

Espacios necesarios

Considero que este tipo de eventos para sumar experiencias de nuevas personas usuarias como yo, son necesarios porque nos permiten reconocer y aprender de quienes tienen mayor trayectoria en el ecosistema para hacerlo sustentable en el tiempo. Eso también es hacer comunidad, lo cual es de las cosas que más me gusta de la plataforma: el apoyo común para fortalecer el manejo y apropiación de estos espacios.

Pienso que el acceso a la tecnología varía según las condiciones y las opciones con que cuentan las personas, mientras más sean las oportunidades enfocadas al buen uso de las herramientas y plataformas que ofrece la nueva era digital, se potencian nuestras capacidades individuales y colectivas de quienes hacemos vidas en ellas.

Comprender esto, es posible a través del compartir espacios de intercambio de conocimientos, dónde se humaniza lo tecnológico para acercarnos y socializar experiencias, por ello es propicio encuentros como Hive Creators Day, dónde pudimos converger este pasado 18 de junio más de 26 personas de diferentes partes de barquisimeto con diversos talentos y habilidades, un evento que a su vez se ha realizado en otros estados de Venezuela.

El encuentro se desarrolló en el ya reconocido @anticafepastisse un lugar complementario y oportuno, que es ejemplo de cómo es posible la inclusión financiera en las plataformas digitales, con base en el intercambio de las criptomonedas, que tiene un enfoque de influencia europea sobre el consumo en torno al valor de trabajo y el tiempo (en mi caso había escuchado de algunas experiencias), pero obviaba que se llaman anticafe y no precisamente porque se esté en contra del café, sino porque el enfoque del servicio es distinto.

¿Cuál es el alcance de estos encuentros para mí?

Para mí, ha sido útil para actualizar información de interés, porque el mundo tecnológico va evolucionando constantemente, en el caso de Hive es entenderlo más allá del blog para publicar y comentar, es un universo de posibilidades inmerso en la generación de las web 3.

Hasta ese día me había dado cuenta la relevancia de la transición de la web 2 a la web 3, en la que he estado inmersa estos últimos tiempos, donde formo parte de una revolución digital, en el que se toma conciencia que además de crear contenido, el esfuerzo tiene un valor creativo y que monetiza, pero eso no llega hasta ahí.

Mediante este encuentro escuchaba el desarrollo de los contenidos, y siento que no únicamente refuerza la convicción, sino la experiencia de lograr ser parte de movimientos expresados en comunidades que lideran una economía descentralizada, que no es gestionada ni controlada por gobernanzas privatizadas, pero que sin duda complementan procesos actuales y permiten ampliar el alcance e impacto.

Comprender a hive más allá del blog me permitió darme cuenta de que, lo más sustancial de estos espacios es conocer, reflexionar y debatir sobre todos los esfuerzos con rostro de calor humano que hay detrás de cada pantalla, que hace posible ampliar y mejorar nuestra experiencia en la plataforma, pues hay una convergencia de talentosas personas en programación, ingeniería, diseño, finanzas, artistas y gente creativa que apuesta seriamente por la plataforma y a quienes me reservo de etiquetar, pero que sé cada día reciben el reconocimiento y respeto por creer y apoyar los diversos proyectos y comunidades que han permitido cambiar vidas a nivel personal, profesional incluso a nivel social, porque conocer hive marca un antes y un después.

¿Lo que más me gustó del encuentro?

a) Toma de decisiones:

Noté que aun cuando alguien liderizó el trabajo para lograrse el evento, se impulso el trabajo en equipo, la consulta, la opinión, los aportes para democratizar la toma de decisiones, por ello se cuida mucho estos detalles para mantener la pulcritud y credibilidad de la plataforma.

b) Conectar:

Me gustó como se evidencian los procesos tipo networking al conectar redes y contactos en pequeña o mediana escala que ayudan a unificar talentos y profesionales para un propósito común, en este caso ha sido un evento tipo Café con alcance nacional y sospecho que traspasa fronteras venezolanas para conmover el entusiasmo de otras personas que hacen vida en la plataforma.

c) Historias de vida y contenidos:

La programación fue posible por la calidad humana que nos visitó de diversos estados, me disculpo por abusar y mencionar, pero quiero otorgar su merecido crédito sobre los aportes que me marcaron aquella tarde.

Comienzo por la auténtica @arlettemsalase quien dijo: "creer y confiar en quienes somos", ella logró transmitir el mensaje que para estar en hive hay que tener amor propio, confiar en el talento y comprender que esta plataforma es un abanico de oportunidades. Para ella, mi reconocimiento y sentimientos porque su historia me conmovió mucho, algunas personas iniciamos en hive de diversas maneras, hay una historia de vida que nos define e impulsa, ella me abrazó y me dijo palabras muy bonitas para continuar adelante.

Para mi @samgiset es una mujer ejemplar en el mundo de la blockchain, el porcentaje de mujeres que impulsa la nueva era digital es reducido y ella ha logrado convertirse en referencia con sus aportes, tecnicismo y compromiso mediante sus contenidos que inspiran, hemos tenido la oportunidad de interactuar y agradezco su motivación para dar un giro hacia el mundo audiovisual siendo 3speak una gran oportunidad.

La @laloretoyya es una persona muy genuina y tiene una entrega total para la ayuda de nuevas personas que ingresan a hive desde cero, hace poco tiempo estuve en sus clases y es admirable lo que hace, ahora verle en persona me pareció tan divertida y siente una enorme responsabilidad de conocer, aprovechar y respetar cada comunidad y todo el ecosistema que integra hive.

@enrique89 fue el único hombre dentro de los ponentes, me encantó su paciencia para hacer accesible la información y suavizar sus conocimientos técnicos, a mí en lo particular me ayudó a digerir algunas cosas que me resultaban complejas, a partir de su explicación me he sentido más curiosa por continuar entendiendo la complejidad que implica la plataforma.

d) Compartir:

A su vez tuve la gran simpatía y alegría de conocer a muchas personas, conversar y reír mucho, quiero mencionar especialmente a @wbrandt y una gran mujer @eliigonzalez, grandes personas que me han apoyado todo este tiempo.

A su vez recibí una agradable propuesta de @filoriologo y @jesusalejos de cosas buenas que se vienen por ahí en la comunidad de #humanitas no alcanzo a nombrar a tantas otras personas con la que conversé y me sentí a gusto, fue como estar en casa, reí mucho y fue muy agradable todos los detalles y como nos hicieron sentir en cada momento.

e) Alegrías inesperadas:

Por mi parte, estuve atenta y me involucré en algunos procesos de la pre-producción del evento, dónde el grupo nos dio la confianza y la oportunidad de ayudar junto a @kellyrsa a organizar los obsequios del equipo que nos visitó, es toda una anécdota que más adelante contaré en un post.

A su vez agradezco la oportunidad de contar mi testimonio, nunca me sentí merecedora, pero agradezco el espacio de hablar frente a gente que tiene amplio camino y dedicación a la plataforma, este proceso me hizo sentir nerviosa y luego en total confianza, medité que aunque me dicen la autodidacta lo más importe no fue lograr ingresar a hive, sino permanecer y seguir insistiendo a pesar del tiempo que demanda el trabajo al cual me dedico.

Otras de las alegrías inesperadas es haber contado que estoy organizando un giro creativo para mi contenido audiovisual, porque soy bastante tímida y a su vez me he limitado por exigirme en hacerlo muy bien, para mi sorpresa salí premiada en un sorteo y aquí mi cara de alegría al recibir este nuevo micrófono con el que voy a comenzar aportar nuevas cosas.

El compromiso adquirido.

Haber asistido a un Hive Creator Day es definitivamente un compromiso adquirido, más allá de compartir y conocerse, es un espacio para el estudio, aprendizaje, experiencia, crecimiento y divulgación, para mí es una privilegio y oportunidad porque nos ayuda a seguir haciendo de Hive un gran ecosistema dónde no solo se ingresa a monetizar, sino a aportar y dejar huella, entonces: ¿Qué queremos dejar en la blockchain que nunca se borrará?.

Tomorrow is a week of Hive Creators Day, I was reflecting on the purposes, substantial balances and achievements that I think we had the opportunity to receive great learning and experiences.

This event is the second one I have attended on Hive, after being on the platform for 4 months, which by the way I completed this June 20th. The first Hive meeting I attended was the meeput in Barquisimeto, a great opportunity to meet, learn and share.

The privilege was greater thanks to the insistence of a very creative woman @zullyscott who has led the community of hivers of barquisimeto and achieved the visit of great creators and creators of the platform to bring to the state the Hive Creators Day.

I had a lot of fun and learned great things, as many people during the meeting no were kind enough to answer many of my questions about the ecosystem, thanks to these spaces I share below my reflections on the meeting:

Necessary spaces

I think that this kind of events to add experience of new users like me, are necessary because they allow us to recognize and learn from those who have more experience in the ecosystem to make it sustainable over time, that is also to make community, which is one of the things I like most about the platform: the common support to strengthen the management and ownership of these spaces.

I think that access to technology varies according to the conditions and options that people have, the more opportunities are focused on the good use of the tools and platforms offered by the new digital era, our individual and collective capabilities of those who make lives in them are enhanced.

Understanding this is possible through the sharing of knowledge exchange spaces, where technology is humanized to bring us closer and socialize experiences, therefore it is appropriate, meetings like Hive Creators Day where we could converge more than 26 people this past June 18 from different parts of Barquisimeto, with different talents and skills, an event that in turn has been held in other states of Venezuela.

The meeting took place in the already recognized @anticafepastisse a complementary and timely space that is an example that financial inclusion is possible in digital platforms, based on the exchange of cryptocurrencies, which has a European influence approach on consumption around the value of work and time (in my case I had heard of some experiences), but I obviated that they are called anticafe and not precisely because they are against coffee, but because the service approach is different.

What is the scope of these meetings for me?

For me it has been useful to update information of interest, because the technological world is not stagnant, it is constantly evolving, in the case of Hive is to understand it beyond the blog to publish and comment, it is a universe of possibilities immersed in the generation of web 3.

Until that day I had realized the relevance of the transition from web 2 to web 3, in which I have been immersed in recent times, where I am part of a digital revolution where the most important thing is to become aware that in addition to creating content, the effort has a creative value and monetize, but that does not go there.

Through this Hive Creators Day I listened to the development of content, and I feel that not only reinforces the conviction, but the experience of being part of movements translated into communities that lead a decentralized economy, which is not managed by companies, unlike other platforms controlled and managed by privatized governments, but that undoubtedly complement current processes and allow to expand the scope and impact.

Understanding hive beyond the blog allowed me to realize that the most substantial thing about these spaces, is to know, reflect and debate about all the efforts with a human warmth face behind each screen, which makes it possible to expand and improve our experience on the platform, as there is a convergence of talented people in programming, engineering, design, finance, artists and creative people who seriously bet on the platform and who I reserve myself from mentioning and labeling, but I know that every day they receive recognition and respect for believing and supporting the various projects and communities that have changed lives on a personal, professional and even social level, because knowing hive is a before and an after.

What did I like most about the meeting?

a) Decision-making:

I noticed that although someone was leading the work to achieve the event, teamwork, consultation, opinion, input was encouraged to democratize decision making, so these details are taken care of to maintain the neatness and credibility of the platform.

b) Connect:

I liked how networking type processes are evidenced connecting networks and contacts in small or medium scale that help to unify talents and professionals for a common purpose, in this case it has been a Café type event with national reach and I suspect that it transcends Venezuelan borders to move the enthusiasm of other people who make life on the platform.

c) Life stories and contents:

The programming was possible thanks to the human quality that visited us from different states, I apologize for abusing and mentioning, but I want to give their deserved credit on the contributions that marked me that afternoon.

I start with the authentic @arlettemsalase who said: "believe and trust in what we are" she managed to convey the message that to be in hive you have to have self-esteem, trust in your talent and understand that this platform is a range of opportunities. For her, my recognition and feelings because her story touched me a lot, some people start in hive in different ways, there is a life story that defines and drives us, she hugged me and told me very nice words to keep going.

For me @samgiset is an exemplary woman in the blockchain world, the percentage of women driving the new digital era is small and she has managed to become a reference with her contributions, technicality and commitment through her contents that inspire, we have had the opportunity to interact and I appreciate her motivation to take a turn towards the audiovisual world being 3speak a great opportunity.

The @laloretoyya is a very genuine person and has a total delivery for the help of new people who enter hive from scratch, recently I was in his classes and it is admirable what he does, now to see him in person seemed so much fun and I feel a huge responsibility to know, take advantage and respect each community and the entire ecosystem that integrates hive.

@enrique89 was the only man within the speakers, I loved his patience to make the information accessible and soften his technical knowledge, to me in particular he helped me to digest some things that I found complex, from his explanation I have felt more curious to continue understanding the complexity that involves the platform.

d) Sharing:

In turn I had the great sympathy and joy to meet many people, talk and laugh a lot, I especially want to mention @wbrandt and a great woman @eliigonzalez, great people who have supported me all this time.

At the same time I received a nice proposal from @filoriologo and @jesusalejos of good things to come in the community of #humanitas, I can not name so many other people with whom I talked and I felt at ease, I laughed a lot and I felt at home at all times, I was pleased by the details and how they made us feel at all times.

e) Unexpected joys: .

For my part I was attentive and I was involved in some processes of the pre-production of the event where the group gave us the confidence and the opportunity to help with @kellyrsa to organize the gifts of the team that visited us, it is an anecdote that later I will tell in a post.

In turn I appreciate the opportunity to tell my testimony, I never felt deserving, but I appreciate the space to speak in front of people who have extensive experience and dedication to the platform, this process made me feel nervous and then in total confidence, I meditated that although they call me the self-taught the most important thing was not to get into hive, but to stay and continue betting within the time I could, despite my work to which I dedicate myself.

Another of the unexpected joys is to have told that I am organizing a turn for my more creative and audiovisual content, because I am quite shy and in turn I have limited myself by demanding myself to do very well, to my surprise I won a prize in a draw and here my face of joy to receive this new microphone with which I will begin to contribute new things.

The acquired commitment.

Having attended a Hive Creator Day is definitely an acquired commitment, beyond sharing and getting to know each other, it is a space for study, learning, experience and growth, for me it is a privilege and opportunity because it helps us to continue making Hive a great ecosystem where you not only enter to monetize, but to contribute and leave a footprint: What do we want to leave in the blockchain that will never be erased.
