Spooky silence around me, cats are snoozing and I can finally in peace hear @mipiano choice for the #spreadthevibes challenge not challenge. Thank you for discovering something new to me, this was the cherry on the top of the day.
Already mentioned somewhere that I really enjoy hearing piano, next to it comes violin and mandolin. But, there is always some BUT, as a younger generation, I'm mostly exposed to modern and commercial music which never stopped me to lurk around and search for my own rhythm.
Also, I'm that person who barely goes out without headphones, discovers a new song, and put it on the loop until it makes me puke.
Few words about my relationship with music as someone who just played synthesizer as a kid (I learned Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht to the perfection) then our house went on fire and with all my childhood stuff, my precious synthesizer, and my musical carrier. - no matter what, music will always be the ultimate language for all of us, a way of expression, emotions, art.
My grandfather played harmonica, and that was the one and only person in our family who was involved in music.
Luckily my mom owns a lovely voice and she had that moment of spontaneous singing (I did inherited some, but I'm mostly squeaking)
Dancing queen, yes that was the first song I heard she sang, and she loved this group a lot. Probably this was one of my first contacts with international music (considering I was in first grade or so). Even nowadays when I hear it somewhere, memories take me back to the living room between a pile of clothes and an ironing board.
Further, my music taste developed under MTV's influence, we had no satellite programs, but some local stations had paid transmit so I was impatiently waiting for 11 pm.
The first time seeing this music video made me fall in love with Madonna's voice, can you guess the number of times I performed it?
Neither can I.
1998 this song appeared as a part of Ray of Light album, mine overture to electronic music, emotions packed in just a few minutes.
And I finally grew up, after I went through all music genres (including metal), my taste definitely formed, and desire to find a proper cover for each song I soak around.
My actual response.
Soothing notes with moments of emotional tension is how I would respond.
Elizabeth Woolridge Grant aka. Lana del Ray, I cried, danced, and laughed with her songs, I think I listened to every possible version, Lucas did an amazing job with his piano cover, I can tell as a total amateur but I will let professionals decide. Honestly, I didn't do any special research on him, this piece just ended up on my playlist a long time ago cause of Lana and one of my favorite songs ever.
Classic sophisticated commercial mix, there is an alternative for everything, yours is to find your own vibe and follow it.
Huh, did I mess up something? It's already 4:01 am I'm still adjusting to my new ultra-sensitive keyboard, the most used button was backspace. I would like to read some responses from @corvidae, as last time she rejected an invitation to attend some band gig, and I like to read her lines. May I do that?
Well, I did it, oops.
