Disturbing sick little songs do not always sound like dark poo poo... Just check out Poe talking to a dead soul....in a weird little house and then when you least expected there is an answer from the other side.
Oh and on top of that, it´s an awesome track.
POE - 5 and 1/2 Minute Hallway
Sick songs are a niche by itself and never ever would I have put The Smiths in that niche...until this night. Until I found this slightly controversial song in which they sing about murdered little children, and actually mention their names. It´s a beautiful but truly disturbing tribute.

Now these guys have always been my favorite type of weird, but damn this song took it a bit beyond. Leonard Cohen couldn´t have done it any darker. This is truly sickening in song and video.
Einstürzende Neubauten - Sabrina
Hard to imagine that this guy once was a teen idol, ending up making The Drift from which I took this next song and I actually feel my stomach turn listening to this track
Scott Walker - Clara
This band was fully new to me and only came on my path when I went down this truly disturbing rabbit hole tonight. But this soundscape is so creepy and uneasy it just kept sucking me in deeper and darker.
Nurse With Wound - Soliloquy for Lilith 1
Deeper and Darker made me end up with a band I heard about in a weird way. "These guys make music that makes people throw up during a concert," well that is a unique selling point. I kinda liked Swans but I get that they can be a bit much on multiple levels
Swans - Paradise Is Mine
A band called Suicide is already a bit disturbing. But if you hear how grey Frankie's life is, it grabs me by the throat... I get Frankie and his wish to end it all. End his life and also that of his wife & kids.

It´s art people, do not overthink or be too PC about it, accept it for how deeply disturbing life and the human mind can be.
Having said that let´s turn the beats up a bit. Let's listen to people having sex in a car just before they find themselves in the arms of death. Kiss and Burn Baby, and it will suck itself into your brain if you´re not careful.

If you make an album called Too Dark and it sounds like Aphex Twin swallowing Marlyn Manson you got my attention. This is one sick skinny puppy.

Of course, one of the sickest songs is Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin. It featured in one of my sessions a while back, but when I heard this cover by a band that was already an eye-opener I wondered which version was the sickest as both blew my brain.

Who the fluff am I?
Being a former DJ playing about everything and having an uncompleted study of radio journalism. I have been wanting to do this for years...Thought about it many nights and guess now it´s time to finally take it to the streets.
