Last week was sweet, sexy and disturbing just like Harley. And I am not done with that theme. So tonight more sweet and slightly disturbing songs.
These guys have been around for quite some time and I always kept an eye on them but this was the song that made me see them with different eyes. It´s a little disturbing but such an awesome build-up. Glam Rock Ballads are not dead they just look a little different.

Now I was looking for a sticking sweet song to accompany my never-ending story. I came across this song that had less than 10 views in a year and it just grabbed me that mid-evil vs pirate vibe so simple so sweet and still slightly disturbing.

These next girls have been making garage pop for quite some time so I guess you should not be talking to them as children. And remember this is not a Family Friendly show... I mean who takes his/her kids tripping at midnight right?
And I do not do it on purpose, maybe it´s just a sign of the times but my Playlists have more E´s than Beekeeper!
It´s that riff it so grabs me by the ......eardrums, of course.

Now I get it that some vids don´t get the views they deserve, I mean The Spores are not super inviting ......but Rhea Romanoff. That name alone should be drawing in buckets of views....especially if the song has that melodic X factor. Maybe it´s that she is oversharing a bit too much.

@Bozz and I are having this thing going when it comes to finding gems.... Last Dinner Party was is definitely the find of 2023 but they will get a separate post because of that soon.
But I gotta say that Cruel Youth definitely makes the 2023 shortlist...and when I heard that was a family-unfriendly song I did not look for it....but guess what? It found me!

Well in all honesty I don´t care about selling out on an awful good song and/or an amazing cover and I have been searching high and low for the perfect cover of this next song. And you know what I did not find!

Still, that is a damn good version and as it seems there is no cover out there that can beat the original I will sell out again and leave you in the stars.

Guess What, My Riddle got solved by @Bozz as he figured out it was not about the A in T&A.

My Midnight Gems will try to uncover & recover those beautiful songs that nobody ever noticed or might have been forgotten.
Who the fluff am I?
Being a former DJ playing about everything and having an uncompleted study of radio journalism. I have been wanting to do this for years...Thought about it many nights and guess now it´s time to finally take it to the streets.
