And we are Back!
Like Every Week:
The Tune Tune Train connects songs, which can be done in many ways. For example three songs from the same movie, then the connection is the soundtrack. Or three songs from people that used to form a band, the connection would be that band. But it can even be three songs about Qatar. Which would make the connection the soccer world cup.
It´s up to you Dear Reader to figure out what connects the train. Or wait till I solve the riddle in next week's post.
We Have No Winner
Guess I will have to make it easier for you all this week because no winner is no fun.
So what was last week's connection?
It was the same answer, well almost the same as last week when it was Andrew Wood.
What did we have as clues?
Eric Clapton - Crossroads - Tales Of Brave Ulysses: I used the version showing the album cover, as that album cover was created by our connection. That is why I used:
Pete Townshend - Face The Face
Using Pete solo and not the who was another clue, both Pete and our connection studied at the Ealing School of Art College, as did Freddie Mercury. In addition, it has the reference to Face and face making it Faces.
Who was part of The (Small) Faces? Indeed Sir Rod Stewart, and that brings us to the next and final clue:
Rod Steward - Sweet Lady Mary
This song was written by our connection the honorable; mr. Ronnie Wood and originally performed by The Faces where Ron and Rod sort of started their musical journeys.
So to make sure we get a winner this week, I am going to make it super easy! That might mean you have to be fast.
First one that gets the connection gets a nice Ecency Boost on his/hers latest post.
All Aboard!
The Tune Tune Train is taking off!
Don´t be ashamed if you did not hear about this guy yet, his first EP is only this year and this video did not even reach a million views yet....
But if this guy makes sure he doesn´t get too F´ed up to much, I expect amazing songs. Keeping it small, keeping it honest and vulnerable with that voice.....that is a Gem in my book.
Peter Raffoul - F***ed Up Together
I wouldn´t dare playing a Pink Floyd cover, this song has the same title but that is where any comparison with those boomers end.
Or maybe not, Bliss shows the same hypnotic power some of the Pink Floyd songs portray, but as soon as she starts singing I get this Dido feel. Now I love Dido, don´t get me wrong, but somehow Dido´s greatest like Dido - Here with Me just makes me wish Bliss was here.
Bliss - Wish You Were Here
Now before I leave you there is just this little thing:
"Bloody tears" CastleVania Cover
Are you still there dear reader?
Did that blow your eardrums, or your mind?
Personally, I am a sucker for good lyrics, but once in a while, I trip over a song that does not need a single word. These guys and dolls do amazing stuff, but this one is just bloody amazing.

Let me know if you figure out what connects these three songs.
Leave your answer in the comments, first to get it right, gets a nice Ecency Boost!
The connection and winner will be featured in next week's #TTT
