Link to Rising Star Utils web
Good afternoon to the entire Rising Star community. I am pleased to tell you that three days ago, we have completed one month since we opened our doors on our website Rising Star Utils.
I want to use this post to show some statistics that I have been collecting from the site and finish by telling you about the new features that I have added in the last two weeks.
I have been browsing the page where I host the web site and I have found some very interesting graphs. Particularly, what interested me the most is to know how many visitors the website had in its first month. This is the result:
In its first month of opening, the site had more than 3800 visits, an impressive figure in my opinion.
I have also come across a rather interesting statistic, it seems that the people who interact with the site the most reside in Germany, Venezuela, the United States, Argentina, the United Kingdom and Canada.
Maybe not everyone knows this, but the site receives a 1% commission on every transaction made from our site, just like other third party sites such as NFTMart, a percentage that is stated in the NFT “Star” contract. This is the result of one month of commissions:
If we take into account the six dollars earned through commissions, we can conclude that Rising Star Utils alone has invested more than $600 in buying and selling cards. To be frank, I did not expect to reach this figure this month. It is amazing how well the site has adapted throughout the community.
I want to clarify that what I receive from market commissions, will be completely destined to the payment of the hosting of our website. If in June I get better results, I will probably improve the hosting plan to give a better performance to the website.
This is the amount I must pay quarterly, approximately $12.
Although I take the development of the web site as a practice, a financial help is always welcome to compensate for the time spent. That's why I have enabled a section to receive donations. Special thanks to @nupulse and @wagginston for their contributions.
Now let's talk about the new features of the site:
Thanks to the contribution of Jux(@risingstargame) I was able to implement one of the most requested functions for the page, a function that is responsible for detecting which card is missing to each user of the only ones in the game and returns the cheapest copy of each one on the market and in ascending order.
This week I haven't had so much time, as I have been working on a cryptocurrency project of an acquaintance, so I didn't add so many things. Anyway, here is a list of the new features:
Code optimization.
I made changes in the code to make it more readable and reduce the system consumption when performing certain functions.
Favicon and HTML Meta Tags
I added a visible icon on the page tab, also added HTML tags to increase the visibility of the website in search engines.
STARPRO in the single letters function.
At the request of a chat person, I have added the possibility to filter also by STARPRO.
Filter by card type in the fan section.
I did it on my own initiative, many times I wanted to buy “people” class cards but I only got 50 results for “transport” class cards. So I decided to add this feature.
Changes in the styles.css
Some other minor changes in the design of the page, which I will be working on more in the future.
