If you're wondering if it's a snake 🐍, it is not. This was taken in petrol station. That green hose was connected to a dispenser's nozzle. I don't know the idea behind it but I don't see it anywhere near the safety zone.
Hose to underground tank.

It takes a keen eye to notice from a far the connection set up sitting on a stool. I really don't know why such was made because the petrol comes to the dispenser from the underground tank. Why dispense back to the source? 🤔 Did they consider the environmental impact in the event of an inferno?
This traces the hose on ground back to the first image of this post showing the hose connected to the underground tank.
