Every single person have that one family member, that one friend, that colleague or even neighbour who always sound like this, "If I was rich, I would do this and I would do that..." Or you'd hear them talk about the amount of wealthy they want to own. After reminiscing about all this, present them with the work, they are just too lazy to do it, and yet they go about making those comments. So, exactly what is the problem of the modern day society? I asked myself this same question last night after someone said something that really made me shake my head. I always share links to my posts so others can read what I'm writing here on hive. Someone saw my post and also noticed the reward of the post, and she said, "TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE PLATFORM I WOULD LOVE TO EARN". I told her a lot about the platform and also let her in on what not to do on the platform, but the part that inspired this post was when I told her, she has to make sure her post is 100% original content. Now, that part got to her, because according to her, she throught she can easily copy and paste contents and earn from it. Good thing I have facesimilar experience, so I shared my story and experience with her, and the first thing she said was THE PLATFORM IS STRICT OHHH I laughed out loud because, I understood the direction she was coming from.😂😂

THE PROBLEM OF THE MODERN DAY SOCIETY?

So, our little conversation made me draft this post, and made me ask myself the above question. The response I got was, "WE ALL WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL BUT ONLY FEW PERSONS ARE READY TO DO THE WORK". Everyone want the short cut to success, and I am a student of that experience, good thing the hive community made sure I learn the hard way. I love using myself as an example to people in all I do, because I can only share my experience and not the experience of others. The world we live in today is very expensive and full of the most flashy of things, clearly every single person want a taste of it all, but while trying to get a taste, we do the wrong things. No one is taking their time to do the hard work anymore, everyone wants to play smart. But we all forget that true success don't just come from smart work alone, it comes from both Smart Work and Hard Work.

Everyone dream to be successful, but no one wants to do the work. A lot of persons do more of talking than actually taking out time to do the work. The time that was suppose to be spent on the work in other for it to yield success, that time is spent on talking. The problem of the modern day society is the thought of quick money, everyone wants the money to come immediately, forgetting that there are some process to follow in other to get to that height we all dream of. Nobody take their time to plan anymore, nobody take their time also to fail anymore, everyone see failure as the enemy, but that's the only brother of success. It's okay to plan, and it's okay to fail, because that's what make us better.

The problem of the modern day society is greed, yes, this has been there even in the time of our fathers, but honestly speaking, it's more now. Greed is what make you think that, that short cut is the only cut available, it blinds your eyes and stop you from seeing other legit opportunities. When we actually take our time to do the work, even while gaining all the profit in the world, the biggest reward will always be, how much we have developed. I have watched my writing developed so well and I keep telling myself I am not even close to what I am aiming to achieve. That's what you get when you actually do the work, you get the money and you experience the best form of growth in your craft. So, the problem with the modern day society is that, EVERYONE WANT TO BE RICH BUT NO ONE WANTS TO DO THE WORK
