On the very first episode of Hive Thrive, during the Q&A segment, @blocktrades made a suggestion about an alternative method of requesting funding for a project: pure upvotes.
Interesting point! I think it could help smaller projects to grow.
I'm running a small project (@topcomment) myself which is slowly growing. I power down the account so I'm able to pay the delegators their share (80% of curation rewards).
Every week I have to send over a couple of Hive from my personal account to be able to pay them all.
It's no problem since I've started this initiative with the idea to improve engagement, but it would be nice if the project would be self-sufficient.
Some upvotes of high stakeholders could surely help with that.
