Its been a hot few days in the sun working on the cabin, lots of breaks and tons of water necessary!
We have been working early mornings, relaxing during the hottest time in the afternoon and working again in the evenings when it cools off a bit.
Taking down the roof beams.
After we got the roof beams down we dug out the wall posts and some 2x6’s to make the supports.
Measuring out the cuts on the support brackets.
All measured out, two supports per 2x6

Finishing off the cuts with the pull saw.
Done all the support brackets.
Getting it marked out to mortise the holes for the support bracket.
Mortising the holes and some fine adjustments made with the chisel.
Fits perfect!
