Use this simple trick to help keep your plants safe.
Since @papa-pepper does a lot of gardening, things are always growing. The baby plants are delicate though, and just a few steps on top of them from one of the @little-peppers could kill the plants, so we have to be careful. Here is one simple trick that @papa-pepper taught us to keep the new plants safe.
If you use a highly visible yarn, you can “fence off” newly planted rows. By stringing the yarn across under bent cattle panels or in between some stakes, you can create a visible barrier much like a “caution tape” does.
Each spring now, we help @papa-pepper rope off the newly planted seeds and seedlings, to make sure that none of the @little-peppers accidentally step on top of them.
Have any of you ever tried using methods similar to this one? We are not sure if there is a better way, but this works well for us!
