Hello! I’m Kerrie McLoughlin, wife and homeschooling mom who works from my dream house in the country. Can’t wait to meet everyone here!

MARRIAGE: I’ve been with my husband for 22 years and married for 19. I’m 46 years old.
PARENTING: I have 5 kids, ages 16, 14, 12, 10, and 8. Started at age 30 and having the time of my life being a stay-at-home mom. I post about the kids sometimes at The Kerrie Show (http://thekerrieshow.com).
HOMESCHOOLING: I’ve homeschooled all our kids from the start. I blog about this life at The Laid-Back Homeschooler (http://laidbackhomeschool.blogspot.com).
COUNTRY LIVING: After years of searching and saving, we were blessed to find our dream house in the country … in another state and half an hour from where we used to live. Now we can have chickens, firearms, fireworks and lots of fun in our pond and pool and on our 8 acres.
BOOK WRITING: I self-publish ebooks and print books on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Kerrie-McLoughlin/e/B00EHG7704/) and put out my first book in 2009. I blog about the journey of book writing and magazine writing at The Published Parent (http://thepublishedparent.com).
MAGAZINE WRITER: I have been writing parenting magazine articles (over 160 magazines) for about 10 years. I also write about this process at The Published Parent (http://thepublishedparent.com) and wrote a book about it (working on 7th edition now).
PAID AND PERK BLOGGING: I’m a blogger many places, the main place being The Kerrie Show (http://thekerrieshow.com). I started in 2008 and in the last few years have started making an income doing it. Besides the income (sponsored posts, ads, etc.), I love the perks of blogging, especially the free tickets to fun events with my family and the free products for review.
PROOFREADING: I have been a proofreader at Fiverr (http://Fiverr.com/writerkerrie) for almost 5 years. I also take on private jobs.
COOKING: I write at Kerrie the Kitchen Queen (http://kerriethekitchenqueen.blogspot.com) and include a lot of easy recipes. I’m working on a book called “The Busy Parents On the Go Cookbook.”
