Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, I'm in my late 20s and from the midwest. Brand new to Steemit but I've had an online presence for a few years. In 2014 I took a year off to travel abroad and started a travel blog called duodownunder.com. That blog has since died along with my dream of becoming a full-time traveler. I'm currently back in school to pursue a Master's Degree in Social Work specializing in child welfare. I have no idea what I want to do when I graduate. I do know that I love traveling, taking pictures, anything outdoors and live music. My strong hatred toward Facebook and my friend Chance from @innerverse brought me to Steemit. I love writing but I'm not ready to commit to another blog. I want a platform to be able to express my thoughts and connect with like minded people. I'm not completely sure how Steemit works but if I can figure out how to create a blog, surely I can figure this out. I'm looking forward to being part of the Steemit community, thanks for reading :)
