It took me a lot of time to solve the jigsaw puzzle that is on my mind. I really don't know how to introduce myself properly other than saying my name, my age, my birthday, where I live at, the course I graduated, my profession, and etc. Answering those would end up making a slam book rather than a blog post.
With that, I’ve come up with an idea of giving you 10 Facts About Me.
I'm a good eater.
Yes, you read it right. There's this fast food chain here in the Philippines called Mang Inasal wherein you can order a pork or chicken barbecue with unlimited rice. Now, whenever we eat there, I ended up devouring five (5) extra rice, not to mention that I will eat the excess chicken of my boyfriend. And yes, I eat like a monster than him. My colleagues keep on teasing me if I do have two (2) stomachs.
I laugh like I could eat you whole.
My friends keep on telling me that they didn’t laugh hard because of the joke. They laugh because of my laugh. And oh, it’s too hard for me to stop laughing once I started laughing hard.
Reading is my first love and book is my one true love.
I remember in my elementary days, I think I was in Grade 4 already, that I started going to our school library and stayed there as much as possible. By the time I was in Grade 6 already, I ended up reading 60% of the books excluding the workbooks. One of my dreams is to have a big library. Oh, I really love to smell that addicting scent of a paperback.
Engineering Graduate
In the college entrance exam of MSU-IIT, I chose these three courses in the following order: BS Biology, BS Accountancy, and AB English. Those three were the basis as to where the administration would put you but of course; it’ll depend upon your score. However, I ended up having a course of BS Electronics and Communications Engineering which made me think that since I’m qualified to an Engineering course, then it means to say I’m qualified with my chosen courses. But then, I still pursued BSECE.
I’m asthmatic but ironic as it may seems I’m a dancer.
Since I was in Grade School up to the moment I became a working gal, I still dance. But now, due to my busy schedule, I stopped dancing for 8 months. I’m amazed that I was able to survive because before, I would cry out because Mom would hinder me from moving my feet and swaying my hips with the beat of the music.
Japan is my dream country which I want to visit the most or as much as possible to work in there.
I think this dream started when I started watching anime when I was in my kindergarten days. We don’t have a television at that time and my cousins who are older than me watched Yu Yu Hakusho, Flame of Recca and Dragonball Z that made me an anime addict. My mom would always scold me because my teacher in kindergarten kept on telling my mom that I always sang a weird song and that weird song she was talking about was ‘Cha-La Head Cha-La’ of Dragonball Z. Until now, I still watch anime and read manga.
Anime Addict
In addition to my addiction with anime, it was Christmas break in my Junior year in college when I decided to watch One Piece from episode 1 to 610. I was so determined to finish it halfway so I ended up having series of overnights that made me collapsed not once but twice. The funny thing was, planking was popular at that time and I collapsed with a planking position which made my sisters laughed not knowing that their eldest sister fainted with a big cut on her mouth.
Art Enthusiast
Art is my way of expressing what I’m feeling. Whenever I got mad, I scribble, doodle, paint or sketch. These days, I’m so into calligraphy and I really want to have plenty of art materials so that I can pursue and practice one of my passions.
Wanna be Doctor
I’m into Science rather than Mathematics. In that case, it made me questioned myself on how I survived engineering. I want to become a Pharmacist and become a doctor and then a military doctor but what a twist of fate that I cannot become what I wanted to be.
Things I want to Learn and Do
Graphic designing, programming, photography, video editing, drumming, self-defense like muay thai, travel around the globe are some of the things I wanted to learn and do before I turn 30. I still have plenty of years to achieve this and hopefully I will be able to pull it off.
Now, that would be all guys. It’s too short but I guess it somehow opens a little bit of who I am.
