Let's talk, discuss, engage! My Introduction

We live in a world in which more and more different cultures are operating at the same time in the same place. We need to open up to a massive multiplicity of values, ideas and opinions. Time to engage on Steemit!

Let's talk, discuss, engage!

My name is Lex te Loo (29), I am educated as an architect in Delft, Ahmedabad and Zurich, and have experience as a researcher and teacher in the faculty of architecture in Delft. While trying to ask questions about our future world, I have produced among other things: Architectural designs, visions for our cities, kinetic prototypes, movies, drawings, photographs, writings and paintings.

PhD Student

Now as a PhD student in the field of architecture at the University of Porto, I hope this platform can become a valuable stream of information to drop my researches in, from which I hope to get feedback, references, discussions and off course friends!

Everybody is an expert on something

I am always on a quest for new ideas. On Steemit I want to test these new ideas in a pool of experts. At the same time I can increase the agility of translating these ideas into a valuable qualitative format by writing and curating. Most importantly, as thought is something that needs to be provoked, I want feedback on my ideas. Not only by likeminded people in my physical proximate circle, but by different, deviant and diverse people from everywhere.

What if I could talk to anyone?

I turn to the online world, and as a node, connected to other nodes we produce, curate, read, modify and sent information. For too long I abhorred the arbitrary beast which algorithmically flooded my online resemblance asking me to choose between Lobster or Banana, or any other small pocket of human cuteness which can be aggressively blown up. The beast is always hunting, by firing millions of arrows in all directions on each second, destined to hit you on an off moment after a 10 hour marathon, clicking yes.

Constructing the biggest contemporary monument ever: Steemit

I unslumber, to reclaim my right to an add free, and fair network of open debate. Build up my autonomous point in the cloud; ready to engage and become a valuable asset, dragging in more information, more thoughts, more friends, more ideas, more knowledge, more perspectives, more opinions, more craft, more debate, more research, more fascinations... Add, add, add. Edit but never erase. The Steemit blockchain will contain it all. Collectively compiling our biggest contemporary monument ever constructed.

All the best,
Lex te Loo

Feedback produces thought! Please do :)
