Liberating Energy, Agriculture and Finance
The LEAF project is about transforming America by returning to a system of support for a strong and prosperous middle class, whose purpose is to uphold Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness for all Americans. To reach these ends is not the goal of LEAF but rather it is the journey to always work towards them. To provide a framework in which men and women of character, conscious and enterprising values may stave off the ever encroaching harm from scarcity, poverty and centralized control. Strong communities centered around the development of Energy, Agriculture and accumulation of resource based wealth will be the tools to defend citizens from the threats of tyranny in every form.
Sustainability models of societal growth:
Sustainable business on a closed loop system, not a linear, limited resource, declination. Co- Operatively run business models rather than Corporately controlled, parasitic models. Businesses are run from a societal impact perspective. Profits remain within the region rather than being siphoned out. Open Source hardware, software and learning framework models remove the impact of monopolies on NEEDED services. Important community stores and businesses are centered around Co-Operative direct marketing partnerships. Barriers to success are removed for self enterprising individuals who remain motivated to work for the fruits of their labors while growing their businesses through entrepreneurial endeavors. Less industrious individuals may simply, voluntarily remain bound by the standard worker/employer model.
Energy:
Renewable, cheap and abundant, clean energy. Locally owned, co-operatively developed and managed. Abundant and Clean water resources. All become DE-centralized and locally controlled. Management of resources becomes less monopolized.
Agriculture:
Open Agriculture, open source hardware, seeds and technology in the public domain. Technology solutions for soil remediation, high value plant growth, nutrient dense food. Industrial inputs from agricultural sources spur growth in manufacturing. Inputs become commoditized and decentralized. Strong, free market development of production of goods remain localized and competitive within reasonable constraints managed by natural market forces.
Finance:
Commodities based savings structures, Self-banking through whole life policies, Co-Operative community owned banks, public banking that is firewalled from global fiat finance. People will keep their wealth and savings, free from the world bankers; safe for their descendants.
