The never ending garden project.

So ten or so years ago we moved into our house and this was the back garden, it was more than a bit overgrown.

So I set out to change the jungle, moved on the pigmy tribe that was living there so here is the results. This picture was taken at about the same place.

So here is the garden from last year after putting in a pond, trees and shrubberies (The knights who say Ni demanded them.)

The garden is home to birds, frogs and dragonflies, the fish didn't make it as there is a heron that kept taking them, a pond for wildlife though isn't so bad.

Now the problem is everything is growing too well and trying to keep plants from taking over. So with the unreliable English summer of a couple of nice days and then a week of rain I'm concidering plastic plants to cut down on maintenance.

So there you go, my never ending task of trying to keep the garden looking good.
