After we did the morning routine with dad, I thought I would try my hand at cooking around lunchtime. I don't cook all that often but I when I take the time to do it, I can turn out some nice dishes! I boiled some angel hair spaghetti and then sauteed some eggplant and yellow onions and topped it off with a delicious tomato basil marinara.
By early evening, I needed to take care of a couple things in town so I got in the car and entered the urban jungle. Let's just say that there's just something crazy about drivers on a Friday evening. I apologize if I offend or sound unkind...But it's total madness! It's like they're jazzed up with extra caffeine or something! :0
Ok, perhaps the picture above is a bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea! Anyway, it's not just that there is more traffic but it's also that everybody is trying to get somewhere in a hurry! Note to self...Don't get out on a Friday evening unless it's a "have to" kind of a thing.
