While building your business you may encounter dozens of things that can dramatically affect your results. ๐Ÿš€

However I believe there is a particular one that is the most influential, and it is distractions. โ˜

Yeah, distractions. So basically everything that doesnโ€™t help you at the moment or doesnโ€™t make a decent contribution towards your goal at this moment is a distraction. ๐Ÿ˜„

And there are lots of them: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Periscope, TV, movies, games, child, music, unnecessary documents, things or apps on your desk, laptop or smartphone, email subscriptions of sales pitches or any other weird stuff, ads, smartphone notifications, daily news from your coworkers, chatting with people. ๐Ÿ’ป ๐Ÿ“ฑ ๐Ÿ‘ถ โœ‰ ๐ŸŽง

A sad or lazy person sitting next to you can also be a distraction. It will affect you subconsciously at first but gradually you will notice that and you wonโ€™t like it. So do something that can help motivate that person to do his work, cooperate, work in a team, or if the situation is way too hard, donโ€™t work with that person. You donโ€™t want their lifeless energy decrease your performance. Iโ€™m serious. ๐Ÿ‘จ

So distractions are evil, we have to deal with them. โœŠ

A few simple things that you can do to reduce the number of them cause you cannot get rid of them completely:

  • turn off all of the notifications: laptop, browser, smartphone
  • install adblock
  • don't speak to negative, depressed people
  • clear your workspace (your desk, your desktop and your browser tabs as well);
  • stop browsing and start using Internet deliberately. I know that those blue links are really awesome but come on, they are killing your time.

You know, start with that. Youโ€™ll be amazed at what you can accomplish throughout the day. ๐Ÿš€ โœˆ
