It already started and I don't feel comfortable surrounded with all these decorations in supermarkets. November just started and we have almost two months till Christmas!
That's pointless!
People gone crazy last years and it is all about spending money on meaningless decorations and overestimated gifts to buy other people's sympathy. I didn't mean to be so strict, it is OK to celebrate in nice atmosphere and to give someone a token of appreciation. But I can't understand why to start with all those ceremonies almost two months earlier.
For few days, I can expect to see the Christmas decorations all over the town. Yesterday I saw first TV commercial this year themed by Christmas. The first things I saw today in the supermarket were these:
This is not a post about baby Jesus nor a religious post. This is not a post about conspiracy theories neither.
This is a post about money.
It is beautiful time to spend a large sum of money so you can complain the whole next year that you are penniless! And that's how it goes! You buy a lot of presents to satisfy everybody, you buy Christmas tree and new decorations each year, because the decorations from last year are totally out!
Are we completely stupid???
My family celebrated Christmas in warm, family atmosphere. I have my own ideals about beginning of life and meaning of life, but I am still part of it. I like it. It can renew some relationships. But there is no need to exaggerate.
