On the evening of August 12, 2015 the serene stillness in Tianjin, China was violently ruptured by one of the biggest industrial accidents on record. What began as a fire, suddenly erupted into a giant death ball of flames that lit up the night sky.

Witnessed through the eyes of horrified spectators (and their cellphones) they watched as over 170 brave souls passed into eternity. The images of this shocking spectacle remain lodged into my memory, and can't be erased. While we say a prayer for the lost, I hope the lessons we learn from this tragedy, will prevent it from ever happening again.
