His life story was filled with so many obstacles, it's a wonder he was even able to handle it for as long as he did. This amazing young man passed in 2013, but left an indelible effect on everyone who knew him. For posterity, he decided to share his story of growing up an orphan and how he forged a personal bond with others like him. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. The post from 2012 entitled: What Happens When You Die, really leaves a lasting imprint for anyone who reads it.
I think we gather strength from those that we love and it was heartening to read about this band of brothers who supported each other during very trying times. The thing we should take away from all of this is, whatever you're going through, never forget to love yourself.
