Discourse-
The construction of experiences into comprehensions, leading to language and expression is a vast article of importance to my writings. When we become overly affiliated with the definitive nature of linguistical appropriateness assigned by those who work to upkeep dictionaries, it becomes exceedingly easy to disregard the vast creative capacity of humanity to produce new and interesting perceptions. Many people are of the opinion that all avenues of approach to human existence in societal notions have been explored, and that technology is the only avenue of growth we have left. This comes from only those without the capacity to see beyond that which has already happened. For those of us that are witness to the infinite nature of the human, and our vast capacity for molding reality we see that there are no limits in any direction.
The Trivium- Grammer, Logic, and Rhetoric
The organization of learning in the Trivium follows this pattern. First, one must be able to define their experiences within the framework of language- Grammer. Second, organizing language into comprehensible systems to enhance understanding and functionality- Logic. Thirdly, being able to communicate effectively the understanding one has to others- Rhetoric.
The intellect is one aspect of human experience. It is not alone in significance in the realm of humanity as it is built solely upon the principle of understanding through making pieces of the whole. Intellect defines, categorizes, and packages things very nicely, but it has no ability to provide understanding to other aspects of life, like the experiential life. Intellect may form mechanisms of compartmentalizing the data in attempting to define the experience, but it cannot experience the experience. This is entirely out of reach of this aspect of the human. Thus, when a person disallows all but intellect to be present in the mind, they miss the deeper experience as it occurs. You cannot experience water and think about water at the same time. Thus we go immediately beyond the intellect to observe life.
Service to all is imperative. Removing the walls of separation is necessary.
Be sincere.
